Duh...there is nothing yummy originally from KL la babe...they just dish up food from other more famous places, like penang laksa, ipoh ngar choi kai, etc etc...
errr... well... but all the good ppl from those places are all in kl.. lol... so all the mei sik's in kl.. even the best ipoh chef is in kl lol.. ehhehe KL rocks ehehhe althou i must admit.. KL'll never have as many leng luis as ipoh

Just to add to the relevance of this thread, we have in Ipoh: Kai see hor fun (Noodles with shredded chicken meat) Hor hee (Fishball noodles) - to the OP: There's a very good hor hee stall in old town Ngar choi kai (Chicken and beansprouts) Nga pou kai fan (Claypot chicken rice) Dim sum White coffee with toast!! Ipoh specialty...don't ask me what's so special about it...I don't like coffee Heong peng (Fragrant biscuits...that's a direct translation!) Erm...that's all for now...I'll post when I come up with more...hehehe

Oh, to add to the list, there's Ipoh yong tau foo...that's fishcakes, stuffed into certain veggies such as bell peppers, okra, chillies, aubergines, etc.

hey mind ur words cos i bet i'm not the only one from ipoh lol... i like melaka's chicken rice ball... ipoh's dim sum sure is nice and fresh.. white coffee and yinyeong toast...seriously if the white coffee isn't good dun ever dream of opening a kopitiam....i dunno bout others but i sure judge the shop based on it's drinks...
