<_< That is so helpful. /sarcasm Of course we might or might not know what our guy friends want.. but then again, what he wants is not necessarily something we can afford or we are willing to spend the moolah to get it.
my friend thats a girl once gave me a wallet. i only use it though cuz of utility. Gift cards always work, depends on relationship. but gift cards always work unless u know specifically what to get. Or any tech thing usually works for guys if they're tech savvy. maybe get him a tree! lol.
cause other people already got stuff for him, what about between people who aren't close at all, just aquaintances
How about a good book? Or a unique keychain. I don't see what else you can get if you are only trying to spend $20.
a keychain? eh, if your like me you probebly have a million of those just hanging around and a book, well he's a HKer, so . . . it's harder for me to pick a good book that he would like, since i dont really know his style all that well i was thinking of a puzzle game that you can play by yourself or with people not a video game, and not a puzzle
I agree. When I don't know what to get for a [not-so-close] friend, I just get a gift card to some brand name store I know he/she visits often. That way, I don't have to stress over what to get them and avoid getting something they wouldn't like. Off the top of my head .. try dress shirts, neck ties, jackets, hats (if he wears them), belts, some electronics for his computer or gaming system (games/controllers, harddrives, headphones, microphone, speakers, etc.), car accessories, phone acessories (like the Bluetooth headset), boxing gloves (I personally like this one haha), a well-designed picture album with one or two pictures of the group of friends in it leaving the rest of the sleeves blank so he can fill it in (very meaningful, imo). Try to think .. what are his hobbies or interests. And smallrini, I suggest you get him a cheap $20 gift card if you're not willing to spend over that amount. You wouldn't want to get him something too cheap or inferior that you'll feel guilty afterwards.
best thing to do is ask him. he will say nothing. so get him nothing. guys don't want anything, just knowing that you know it is his birthday is enough. we don't care about the whole birthday thing. just another day to hang out with friends and taking shots if he is over 21. if that does not satisfy you, bake him a cake, cookies, or brownies. i would go with the brownies cause guys love brownies. proof: guys love to eat. eating means you are consuming food. food include brownies. therefore, guys love to eat brownies.
depends if the guy is materialistic or not. I prefer somethin hand made, or unique from the girl!!! A CD of the songs she like would be nicer than an ipod etc for me.
Lol, that would imply gf/ bf status no? Back @ OP, maybe a pen since its not too personal and yet practical.
yes once again, aquaintance i'm not interested in him, even more interested in snagging someone who's already gota gf
