why do cops look at you and automatically think the worse?

    Cant blame the cop. He might have been scared because how often do you see someone knocking at their windows? Besides, how many of you were in the car?

    Eh, if I were the cop I'd rather do something about my suspicion than sit their and think, "What it?"

    And if a cop did that to me I wouldn't really mind because they've got a dangerous job and getting snuffed out by some person walking up to my patrol car isn't the ideal way to go down as far as a cop is concerned, I guess.

    As long as they don't bust a Rodney King on my ass I'm good.

    Speaking of which, I was kicking it in my friends car about 2 years back and suddenly a state trooper (Highway Patrol) stops us in the city which they have no jurisdiction, and he walks up to the car and my friend steps out to talk to the officer and the cop just socks him in the face and he falls over and this cop picks him up with one arm and tosses him like an eff'n doll onto the hood and says, "Did I tell you to get out of the car!? That's a fucking great way to get shot!" Then writes my friend a ticket for not yielding to a pedestrian which was jay walking in the first place and leaves like nothing happened.

    What did I do? Nada. I wasn't about to get man handled by a statey. I've had one of them drag me out of a van, toss me on the ground, and stick a shottie in my face before and I'm not really fond of that game.

    i hppe ur friend sued the state trooper cause i remember seeing on the local news where i live, they are undergoing a investigation on the one cop who he has brutally abused people in the past 2 years.

  11. 1st. over here in the netherlands there isnt racisme against asians :p asians are the sweeties over here xD there is chinese mobsters over here but they never make trouble.. or atleast they do there job clean so you never hear any trouble on news :p

    2nd. if your cop you gotta look out for anything, cops are a big targets for people that are against the law, with how much was that police care? was he alone?

    3rd. even if you dont wear like a gangster you could be a bad guy. the cop prolly just did that for his own safety

    that's true.. like, american gov obviously abuse their power since first day.. many many cops abuse their power too..

    there was one time a guy that come back from iraq was pull over in his friend's car, he was the passenger.. so the cop tell both of them to get out and the guy come back from iraq sit on the ground.. then the COP ask him to stand up, and when he slowly get up, the cop shoot him 3 times!! it happen earlier this yr or late last yr.. i think the case is still going on.. this one is very very sad

    Can never hurt to play it safe. I would do the same if I were the cop and someone who i usually don't see in the neighborhood comes walking up to me.

    I understand why cops would be suspicious - but they should be respectful in talking. I felt verbally abused for being at a 24 hr. grocery store with some friends in the parking lot. He suspected we were dealing drugs or drinking in public. I was lucky to be a girl because all he made me do was put my hands on the hood while he patted down the guys. Cops are ridiculous these days...I even got in trouble for accidentally snapping a picture of "government" property - not like I'm going to do anything. Sheeh.

    @subaru3169:

    Nah, I would've lost the case before it even started. Lets just say I was at the wrong place.

    @ah_wong201:

    Most of my former friends arn't exactly the suing type. They're more of the finding out where you worked or lived and get even that way if you know what I mean.

    no you wouldn't have.. that's called excessive force.. if he was in clear and present danger, he would have pulled out his gun immediately.. but instead, he was on the offensive.. trust me, when i was a teenager i had many cases against big headed cops, rookies or veterans.. if they profile and abuse their power against ppl who know their rights like me, they won't win
