eg's arent that ugly.. just kinda generic. i personally like the rendering quite a bit.. it will be 10 times better then what subaru is actually gonna bring out... if this was what it was gonna be like, id have a huge hard on for it.
i don't like it.. after the wrx come out in america, the style is all go downhill.. well, imo anyway.. and most of nasioc too.. on sat, i went to one of my friend's place for bbq.. and one guy just buy an 08wrx sedan.. omg that thing is super ugly.. sti hatch is the same.. most of the ppl who really know about subys are disappointed
oh, i know, the new WRX is garbage... i fuken hate it... the 06-07 models are amazing though, i love em.
06-07 are "OK".. only thing they improve in those yrs are the increase torque and drivetrain for the wrx.. the sti, they make the suspension shit.. the 06-07 wrx and sti are actually the same car, same block and everything.. just different turbo and fuel stuff, and strut/spring
I like the headlights. Very aggressive looking. While we're on the subject of how ugly the 08 WRX is, here's my crack at making it look presentable. I tried to go for the OEM look.
when i saw the changes up close in person on saturday, this is what i noticed - no more 4pots - navi is optional, but the air vents on the bottom of the monitor - tmic change design - battery is crooked angle - integrated scoop - doors bigger than ever - window frames now<sooo unsubaru style> - same style seats as 04-05, but different fabric - NO ALUMINUM PEDALS - full fold down rear seats - dual exhaust - double wishbone suspension - obvious grille change and rear tail light change styles
eg's are not ugly.... its just that pic looks ugly. eg's looks nice when modded with the rite stuff. my friends old one had a jdm type r front on it, 5 lug conversion w/ the r lip and wings west lip kit.
06-07s is the only usdm wrx to have it.. but still smaller than the sti brembos.. the wrx 4pots are the same as the jdm 4pots on the gc, they are just red with subaru sticker.. jdm 4pot is black with "subaru" stick out, like opposite of engrave
i acutally like the 05 sti looks way better than the 08, its possible the best looing sti through the yrs
