yo, guys, check this vid out, its real and i suggest send it to everyone who owns a car. http://mfile.akamai.com/12924/wmv/vod.ibsys.com/2006/0503/9152183.200k.asx
never been to jiffy lube before.. i only trust smaller garages with devoted mechanics and dealerships. Oh and i would never trust a garage run entirely by mexicans... fuck not only would they not do shit all to your vehicle, they would probably steal all the change in your ash tray and siphon your gas tank.
^^^i never trust delearship.. all the cars i had, not one went back to dealership for service unless is for warranty
shit... now i have to check all the work being done.... im going to my next service at a dealership, so im gonna have to double check...
i actually went to jiffy lube to change my oil once and will never return to that shop again. its just simple oil change but they drained out all my coolant in my car and forgot to fill it back plus they stole my carbon air filter
i dont remember, prob some worked there, but ever since then, i have been taking my car to a garage where there are people speaking in canton, i feel more secure and i dont completely trust the 'stealership' either.
fortunately there is no jiffy lube in my place..those scams....but it's kinda obscure getting your car repaired because out of 10 customers half of them do not know much about their car condition and they can be easily ripped off...
i would suggest if you guys really HAVE to go dealership or "jiffy lube" places, then make sure you always WATCH them do the work from the time they drive your car to the back.. AND take pictures of your car before you hand them the keys, inside and out.. coz if they steal stuff from inside, at least you have proof you actually had it when you bring it in.. like stereo stuff and small electronics i'm a member of nasioc.com, and a lot of dealership around me is very bad lor.. lots of dealer treat customer car very bad, even if the car was bought at that same dealer!! one time, this guy had his ipod and navi stolen.. and the dealer deny!! wth, and he never got it back.. another guy went to dealer and the mechanic broke his lip and put a dent on the car, and of course.. DENY.. my suggestion.. if you have friends that like to play with cars, they should know what garage is good to go to for service.. go to independent garage instead of dealership or those fast service like jiffy lube
I;ve had the dealership rip my dad off on brakepads n rotors for 1k.. n I later checked their work the same day by taking off the brake assembly seeing that the brakepads were cracked. I called the dealership and they hung up on me. I went there with an officer n had the manager arrested for fraud. In addition to firing the guy who hung up on me.
my dad opens a garage repairing car air-cond as well..he isn't shy to admit there are indeed a lot of dishonest foremen who love to rip off innocent looking customers...
exactly how you should handle the problem!! if something bad happen, you can probably sue whatever car company it is on the corporate level also
my brother in law work at a dealership so i trust him to work on my car. But this means my future cars have to be Nissans so he can work on them -mellow
