how do ppl make their desktop / computer layout

like, u see in screenshots or friend's computers or etc all around that their screens are all pretty and fancy without the standard windows layout -.- but all i've found was stuff for laptops but nothing for regular comps

 

regular comps and laptops desktops are the same lol, unless you have a different os for both but all you have to do is go downloaded a desktop x object or the suite for themes

 

I just use object desktop and cursor xp.

 

I still don't get why some people need all the stuff on their desktop. I just got an msstyle and objectdock.

i don't use it anymore... but i think it was... if u didn't buy it.. it would just pop up evrytime started up the comp. so if ur willing to put up with that u can use it free

don't really know bout that cause i just use the simple alienware suit from skinsfactory lol, but i have used the desktop x thing and there was not that many problems but don't really like it also.

Use windowblinds...it's not free, but I'm sure you can find a crack with it if you search torrents...

 

No one here uses Litestep? IMO it blows every other Windows skinning application clear out of the water.

 

I prefer to modify the outside of my screen with sound activated lights behind the monitor, that can also be left on all the time.

the light-up keyboard is definitely a keeper... helps with playing games in the dark

 

for windwos XP user i recommand ---> WindowsFX
