Ok, last week me and my friend went to a Louis Vuitton shop in Perth and there the thing that caught my attention was a pair of LV Sunglasses. I mean it was "crying" out to me. I then asked a kawaii nihonjin nyo about the pricing of it and to my sheer horror it costed about $725!!!! My jaws just dropped to the floor. I wanted them, and the problem, aside from the ridiculous price, is that i have glasses. Yep, prescription glasses. I already have a Diesel precribed sunglasses in me room. And hypothetically if i bought this pair of Lv sunglasses i might resort to having contacts. Thing is, is that this sunglasses suit me soooooo well yet im so DAMN POOR =(. Im practically obessed with it but like i said again i have glasses and its going to take me a year or MORE to save up for a pair like this since im poor as hell
$725 for a pair of glasses, no way, if you're poor don't get it lol, but it's your choice.........i mean i went crazy for this cellphone because it looks slick and i ended up adding hundreds for it and i'm regretting it lol.
You are not crazy to get it. If you have the money and don't mind wearing contacts and you really want the sunglasses, then you should buy it.
for a broke girl like me i won't buy it...afterall i'm kind of attracted to a lot of expensive things, too much in fact...most of the time i'll say i like this and that..and the price is killing me off by merely staring at it...but if you like sunglasses as much as i like handphones and sport shoes i guess you can work your way to it...save the money and buy it...
Well, IMO it's not really worth the money. Besides, you have to invest in contacts... And be sure to see if you are comfortable wearing contacts before you even bought this pair of sunglasses But you gotta work hard to save up the money for it.. so by the time, maybe the yearn for it would have died down? Who knows.. Just save up in the mean time if you still want it really bad.
Hmmm well, the thing is i couldnt be stuffed getting contacts at all. I have to lay down another 100 for it and quite frankly i will be too lazy putting them on.
well assuming u don't always find stuff u like that easily, then as expensive as it is, so long as u like it, it'd be worth it. its not easy to find something that u really like, so i believe neway. as long as u believe u can justify it, then do it =) worst case scenario, u learn a lesson not to spend so much later on im trying ot justify to get pair of sunnies (dg ones), they look pretty >< but yeah its only around sub 400 but its winter, so >< there goes that idea for a lil whil eheheh
I personally wouldn't, just because I am not a Louis Vuitton person. And of course you know, without anyone telling you, branded luxury goods are terribly overpriced -sweat
i wouldn't... they're expensive!!! it'd be too much of a hassle.... need to get contacts... try them.. make sure u like them etc (contacts aren't suited for evryone) and there's the chance u m,ight lose them or they get stolen... that's $725 gone..... and being broke that 725 would mean alot to u!! if u realy like them and want them etc... it's ur choice remember u can't get that 725 bak once u've bought it... that's my 2c
lol i wouldt get it. because i just dont think that its worth $725. and ya, get contacts. i used to wear glasses, but they're a hassle.
and i don't think you are really THAT poor if you could set your eyes on LV...i have never look at LV stuff in my life....my standard is only from cheapskate fake stuff to sports brand...no eminent stuff
do you know how much food you can get for 725?? wait, is that australia money?? how much is that in usd?? if is 725usd, i'd rather eat well.. and buy new tires
ppl like to spend money on things they can't really afford in terms of xtra shopping money, so naw u won't be crazy sine that's how the world works today, but yeah iono i wouldn't get it if i were you, i'd rather save up and buy clothing rather than shades, also considering how you have glasses and no contacts yet >.> yakno? :O oh, and things like these usually you'll forget in a week or two regardless of how much u want it, just bare wit it for now =]
If you know you'll be too lazy for contacts don't do it. + you need to buy contact fluids and change it every so often. I've had them for a short while and I prefer glasses anytime, esp. now they have these coolly designed ones. $725 dollars for a pair of sunglasses is way too much if you're not exactly rich. Keep shopping for other less expensive sunglasses as there must be equally nice designs out there. (and the one in the pic just look quite ordinary to me?)
god damn.. that is 15 days of work for me... i would never spend all that on a pair of glasses, complete waste
>.< order some knock offs somewhere, i got a friend whos parents who import knock offs from china ^_^ they look real unless you know what to look for but yea, if your going to spend that much money on something, use it on something you'll enjoy more... cuz lets face it, even if you don't break'm and they stay in perfect condition, you can only wear it during the day lol get an iphone, new computer, 25 inch + LCD, two or three sets of clothing, a cruise somewhere... and the list goes on.. question, what about those sunglasses qualifies it to cost over 700 dollars? are the frames platnium?
If I had the money, I would buy expensive sunglasses or other expensive items. Sunglasses can last quite a long time if it's taken good care. Buying brand name items is showing other people your standard of living is high. Money is for spending, not for saving. If you want the LV sunglasses and don't mind the contacts, then buy it if you got the $.
