why not ask these friends. they should know something about her unless this party is like a reunion in which they are in the same position as you whom haven't seen her in a year. the best option is getting her a gift card to where she shops at.
But you're not sure of her music taste? Or maybe she already has it if you buy her a common artist like Beyonce?
^That's why I said (if you are sure she likes it) lol Coz DVD (movies) or music are tricky stuff if you don't know the person's taste. But you can't go wrong with a nice bath shower gel or hair shampoo or mask and stuff ?
Birth-day card with money in it XD. Seems to work with my cousins -lol. Agree with the body products, but girls are actually picky about the type of smell/brand. Handcrafting stuff is also nice, but sometimes it gives off the wrong idea depending how close you are with the person. Antiques, artistic stuff she could hang/put in her room. Just like someone mention, just ask about her hobbies/interest then that would make it easier for you to find stuff for her or have people here give you more ideas.
