lol seems like everything can be expanded now with these little things i have a 2gb and a one gig. the 2gb won't work with my Samsung D900 phone (anyone have this phone, if you know how to make it work, please post), so i used the 2gb for my mp3 player and 1gb for my phone.

Who here uses micro sd cards and what for? i think they will get more popular as more products use them.

i don't think some phones support memories up to that much...even if it does, it might probably slow down your phone....the dealer said my E680i supported memory up to 2GB but i never use 2gb memory card...1GB is enough to lag my phone...

why don't you try to format it first? try to refer to this link...hope it helps

I format it to FAT, FAT 32, tried even giving it a volume name doesn't work lol, sorry the forum didn't work too, but i heard i need a flash cable or something to upgrade the firmware but that would void the warranty so not gonna try, but thanks anyways lol

Some brands of memory cards won't work with certain phones. For example my phone won't work with Kingston memory. Search around the Internet to see if your phone has some unsupported brands.

nah probably just don't support the 2gb memory lol, i put in a one gig and it works fine, i already give up on the 2gb now cause theirs no hope, but the bad thing is they didn't say any limits and that gave me the false sense of hope lol. Oh yea and the dealer said it would support 2gb but dealers don't know shit lol.

Many phones only support up to a certain amount of external storage. And for D900, max is 1gb like so many other phones.

  12. hey.. it works! shake it up and down, left to right, it doesnt disconnect!

and plus.. bought the phone for 20 bucks, changed it to a black face plate, flashed the firnware, and resulted in a sleek, new, hot phone.

shitty old ulgy white rokr => the new dann sleek black phone.

^ Canadians carriers have some cellphones with microSD that sells at that price providing you have a contract with them. Or another case is that he bought it second hand.

  18. correction. third hand. LOL

but the thing is, i made sure the hardware was ok, so by flashing the firmware, the software aspect of the phone is brand new..

and since it was an ugly, scratched white rokr like i said, i changed it to a black faceplate.. cant tell it was a rokr, except if you look carefully.

im gonna do the same with my psp.
