Thought it was funny in a way...guess this village is in some remore area and people are still superstitious enough to believe in these 'flying dragons' and it's healing powers... But too bad for the scientists...
Yes, it is quite sad. Think of all the fossils that ended up being some guy's dinner. Sort of weird to see Chinese villagers still believing in superstitions even though China is moving up in the world.
^^" This is ridiculous, such a waste, almos impoossible and makes me feel sad and wanna lugh at the same time. Wat a waste of dino bones. Then again the calcium helps.
ah. this article gives the non-chinese people more to say about what we eat... oh well.but i really didn't think they would still believe in all this...
ooh...this sounds very familiar.... U have heard about the ancient chinese oracle bones?? with the ancient inscriptions ?? the villagers used that as medicine too.....until one scientist/scholar' in the Ming? was sick and got these dragonbones as medicine before these bones were discoverd.
Some westerners ate grinded mummies in the 19th century as they believe in the supposed healing powers. Tell the non-chinese that if they make jokes about the Chinese eating dino bones.
oh,,,,wowww,,,is that true???can't belive that!! I know chinese eat a lot of things but this..beyond my thoughts
^Are you serious? Never seen the exotic herb stores in Asia? Dried seahorses, insects and antlers of deers? -huh
pretty crazy stuff lol, fossil soup damn thats crazy eating something thats like 100 million years old damn.
That's like...eating a billion dollars...if people found dinosaur bones in the states or something, they can sell it to a museum for a lot of money! I am going to make sure my mom doesn't put dragon bone in my soup!
