there you go!! see, is always good to try to improve yourself.. everybody have room to improve.. just remember, is not just about the amt of effort you put to improve.. but is about the way to improve.. just like workout.. not about how much you can try to lift the weight, is about how well you can lift it.. don't worry la, life will fall into place someway.. so i guess try not to stress too much, just ride the wave lol
being big gives alot more advantage in a fight, trust me. ^_^ a smaller guy can beat a bigger guy sure, but that smaller guy will have to know what he's doing, like knowing a bit about where to hit the an opposing body. While the bigger guy can just throw his weight around. Even if your fairly skilled at a martial art, a bigger guy will easily over power you with some basic wrestling techniques. Go watch some boxing or UFC, pay attention to the amount of force the fighters at feather weight and heavy weight produce, a very scary difference. @MadeinChina if you start choke'n round a girl, just relax, chill and don't think about anything. Just be like "whatever" in your head. relaxing is a huge key if you start stress'n. And keep with the physical training, it's discipline. Also if your worried about fights, take a boxing class, or Mui Tai. Or just watch some boxing and pick up on techniques. when/where to hit/block, how their shoulders are positioned etc. i've seen too many noobs that lunge at their opponent. Also since practice makes perfect, find a friend to box with (get some gloves, maybe helmet). you gotta have good timing and know how to take a hit to be successful in a street fight ^_^ (i'm sure you already realized this living wher eu are). The more comfortable you are in a fight, the more successful, start sparring!!
Guess you already figured out the first part of the problem... Now, its finding ways to get over them... When you talk to girls you like, dont be afraid to make mistakes but just remember to learn from every experiences, then eventually you will know what to say and do at the right moment. I do notice a tendency in you to generalize girls... When you have an attitude of defeat, its a losing battle already. Tell yourself that you are capable and act on it, if it works out, good, if not you gain some knowledge and will do better next time.
so you were fat well now that your skinny try to bring up some damn confidence jeez... usually fat guys that get skinny are but im guessing your case your not
I did one thing today at a party, that is to complete ignoring the facts that there are girls there and I treat all of them as friends and nothing more. No shyness or speechless and becoming more interactive with people..... and people liked to talk to me more. No one really gave me the compliments on my weight loss except for the guys who were all shocked at how I looked now. The girls remained quiet about it, maybe I made them feel bad by looking skinny? lol
Girls usually don't comment on how much a guy lost weight (although they may make a mental note and/or chat about it amongst themselves later) unless you are close with them.
interesting... maybe that's why a lot of them were staring at me today but not saying anything. a lotta guys came up to me and went damn you lost a lotta weight, and they were complimenting on my guns and a lotta them wanted to know what I ate and worked out, etc.
it's okay. i'm like that with guys. i'm pretty outgoing but when it comes to a guy i like, i can't even make eye contact let alone say something
gotta start flexin' them guns man, you worked hella hard for it right lols. but yea if you want girls, gotta keep your game up. don't really keep the mentality you have when you working out though cause working too hard for girls is too desperate and not a good thing lol.
it's just how people judge on appearance.... I mean, some people got a big stomach and people go "holy lord that man's unstoppable eating machine". or Someone with big nose, people would go that's sexy or that's too big. Someone with big lips can be sexy or can be scary. Define Big.... I personally think my muscles are still small compare to the people in the gym.
