saw it the second day it was release. cool graphics. but those childhood stories are all compress into a single movie...wish there were more autobots & deceptacons.
well, u gave it all away. haha .. but yah ... i didn't like that fact that megatron is not a gun. but i can accept that becoz he's the leader of the decepticons and should be something more powerful. a tiny little pistol doesn't show as much. as for optimus, yah .. the damn director added flames (when he's a truck) and mouth (when he's a robot) ... i hate it. well .. herbie is white and bumblebee is yellow. plus, herbie doesn't transform as far as i know just have eyes and shrunk right? correct me if i'm wrong though ... not sure about that. didn't watch that movie.
I agree, Optimus is a classic they should never change him ever. Herbie never transformed into anything.
they changed optimus prime's truck because the original cab-over truck was not as big as the peterbilt truck..and it's not that herbie couldn't transform...they might compare the outlook of the beetles...you know the critics....mind you, they took nearly 2 years to simulate the way the autobots and decepticons transform themselves and take in every minor bit of detail into consideration....as for the gun, probably it's unrealistic to transform a tiny gun into a giant size robot so they changed to air plane instead...
movie dragged on for too damn long, story line shallow as hell, theres no depth no tension no feelings for any characters just mindless action (popcorn flick) A movie like this should be 1:30 but 2 and a half hrs is just dragging it. common did any of you really care about bumble bee? 6/10 Not bad but an ok popcorn flick
^ i agree the dragging part especially where they were trying to hide from the parents. but i enjoyed the humor there; so it's not so bad.
i had low expectation for the movie, but I loved it!! Saw it the day before it hits theater nationwide, it was amazing. the last part of the movie was draggy. but still my favorite summer movie so far. I got myself into a sold out show with these transformers nerd shouting, yelling and all. they made my day.
i would rate this movie 9/10.... the robots look more realistic....(not anime looking) and the whole movie was very entertaining. When there were no action scenes the director put humor into the scenes to make viewers pay more attention; which is smart. and the reason i gave it a 9 because it has been the only anime movie ive ever seen that doesnt suk...
was never into transformers cartoon before but i love bumblebee in this movie!! also love the way they transform, sounds so cool!
Saw it today in the theatres and I really liked it! ^^ It was filled with a great story plot and action. And Shia LaBeouf did a great job acting ^_^ Definitely recommend this movie~
