Holy! That's the first time I've ever seen a rambutan, so vibrant and red. Do they taste around the same as the other two? I think I like longan the most, I have difficulties peeling lychees but they can have so much flesh and have a really small seed sometimes. Mmm, now I want some.
rambutan taste sour sometime but is not as good as the other 2 and people mistake it for lychee. I think I like lychee the most because of the texture and the taste of it.
i perfre lychee dat cuz they have so much meat in it n its good. wen i eat it i get addicted 2 it and start craving for more...
this may be a stupid question but i never asked so i dont know the answer to it. drinking and eating sugar'ry will rot your teeth, but how about natural sweets from fruits like lychee? does it harm your teeth?
rambutan is not as juicy as the other two... ^^fructose is a kind if sugar found in fruits...although it's natural it will also promote tooth decay...
Ohhhh, thanks for the info philostrate. I read an article that apples also contribute to tooth decay due to the acids in them. Fizzy drinks like soda and such do the same thing.
mmm...love all three! But if I had to rank, i'd rank them from first to last: lychee>rambutan>longan All sugars cause tooth decay don't they?
In large quantities, I'd prefer logan. For small portions, lychee would be my pick. Don't remember ever having tried rambutan. Rambutans look like a cross between a sea urchin and sea anemone! Also from that picture, the meat looks unsually white and opaque...is it hard in texture?
i would say lychee>rambutan>longan eheheh but actually lychee> rambutan/longan ehhehe dont mind both... lychee's the best.. but too much my nose bleeds :(
Lychee is the best but the American one taste bitter unlike the chinese one so I rather had Longan here.
I LOVE RAMBUTAN. too bad i live in america...all we get is the ones that have been frozen or something. i never buy that.
