Belkin's N1 Vision router tells you what's going on Related Entries: Computer Peripherals For the tech-unsavvy, setting up and using a wireless router is a daunting task. Those faceless grey boxes don't provide much in the way of assistance in their setup, and getting the job done never really goes smoothly. Why can't those routers be a little bit smarter? You know, it could work with you a little bit. Belkin's New N1 Vision is the first wireless router to have a built-in display, showing you error messages, network status, download speeds, guest passwords, and more. It means the router can actually tell you what's going on with it, rather than forcing you to figure out how to connect to its settings page on your internal network or spend 2 hours on the phone with some guy in India. No, I'm not bitter. The N1 Vision goes on sale later this month for $200. — Adam Frucci For more info see http://www.belkin.com/n1vision/intro/
How come all of the wireless N spec routers all look so much better than the others out there? -what? But I don't think that they screen will see much use unless it's located in the living room. It would make a pretty nice clock, hah.
lol wonder what's the range on this baby, well i don't even have a N capable card so i can't use it but wouldn't waste my money on it anyways since i usually use my laptop so close to my b/g router anyways.
i seldom have chance to admire the beautiful piece....the router's in my bro's room and i use wireless in the opposite...unless it can shout to me what's going on....
200 bucks to read whats going on when u can just get the basics from a browser login or a network monitor utility...although cool..fuck no...
does that hav a built in modem aswell? i need a wireless router with built in modem soon... for 200 that'd be alrite.. only router.. don't think it'd be worth it...
