CRAB, LOBSTER, SCALLOP, ABALONE, SHARK FIN, SEA CUCUMBER, SQUID, and CARP are the main seafoods but some doesn't sound to fit in but they're special type like Crab mean the best are from Shanghai and also shark fin doesn't mean any is the same as any shark fin.
hhmm .. haven't had shark fins for a long time. i believe there's a thread telling ppl not to eat shark fins.
i take after my mom, i love seafood! but not clams, mussels, oysters.... i do love shrimp, crab, lobster, scallop, abalone, sea cucumber, and most fish.

i like all of them but if i had to choose 3, i would choose lobster, abalone and crab, shark fin is only good in soups =P lol but Yeah !
i eat too many varieties of sashimi to count, but lately its been shiro maguro and toro that's always been on my plate besides that... crab sharkfin lobster oysters abalone list goes on... cept sea cucumber, i don't eat that -doh... need to do some urchin next time...
I agree that shark fin should be taken off food list. By itself, it is tasteless. It is the soup stock that most people are tasting, which is usually chicken soup. The shark is harvested cruelly by cutting off the fin of the shark while it is still alive and then thrown back defenseless into the sea. Sort of like cutting off its arms so it can no longer swim, leaving it vulnerable to a slow and painful death. Remember that the shark is one of the cleaners of our seas, much as the buzzards are one of the cleaners of dry land. Without these animals, decaying matter would litter our world. So, unless one eats the whole shark, let them keep their fins. Sorry, maybe this should be in the other thread, but then again, maybe no one in this thread is interested in the other thread. LOL
depends how u make them, i guess i like crab in american tradition, ame for lobster but in chinese tradition i like squid and crab. it varies. il love seafood and that's all that matters! sushi > all
