so glad for the man that he has een able to find true love and get married like anyone else. But I knoe scientists have also set their eyes on him and wondered how his internals are functioning with his height and also predicts that he will not live long. Just hope thatin the future when he passes away he will not be taken and cut up for experiments and put into museum.

Leonid Stadnik, a 36-year-old vet from the village of Podolanci in the Ukraine, is now officially recognised by the Guinness Book of Records. Measuring eight feet and five inches he has eclipsed the record previously held by 56-year-old Xishun. Stadnik's growth spurt started at age 14 after a brain operation apparently stimulated his pituitary gland, which produces the human growth hormone. He had previously said he did not want the title of the world's tallest man or to feature in the Guinness Book of Records as a freak. He said he was not proud of being so tall and that it had brought him nothing but problems, including having trouble finding a girlfriend. He reached 8′ 11.1″ (272 cm) in height and 490 pounds (222.26 kg) in weight before his death at the age of 22. His height was due to an overactive pituitary gland. Robert Wadlow was born in Alton, Illinois on February 22 1918. At the time he weighed only 8′ 6 ounces (3.8 kg). He attracted attention due to his rapid growth when all his four siblings grew at a more normal speed. At the age of 13 he became the world’s tallest Boy Scout with a height of 7′4 (224 cm). At age 18 his height was 8′4 (254 cm) and he weighed 390 pounds (177 kg). His size 37 shoes cost $100.00 a pair. At the age of 20 Wadlow signed a contract with the International Shoe Company; he received free shoes in exchange for a promotional tour. He traveled all around the USA with his father.
