have anyone notice the rice we are eating has changed? I mean the taste and texture. especially the rice flour__when make some thing with it, cakes for exmaple, the final product taste a bit like sticky rice. I do know some rice are genetically changed with bacteria DNA....and so on. ( anyone know who is Monsanto)
i havent noticed anything but i do kno who monsanto is the monstrously sinful company who is taking over agriculture with their pesticides and crops =/ they basically control what we eat -- only care about money and not our health =(
they are sobs. They're trying to neglect their responsibilities by splitting into 2 companies. When someone affected by their past actions e.g. agent orange, chemicals spoilage, bug spray that make plantation workers in south america sterile, the list just goes on and on one sister company blames the other sister company and nothing gets done. They should really burn in hell, and rice has be modifihed whether genetically or naturally selected for a long time now, I'm still here so yeah. I've seen a type of corn with a stickyrice grains inside of the whitish corn. I think it's vietnamese...creepy.
Really depends on what kind of rice you eat and what brand. There hasn't been any change in the rice that I eat
HUH?? -huh? maybe u just bought a different brand or different type... for example sushi rice is different to jasmine rice... n it also depends on how much water u use...
well i guess it all depends on the way u cook it and the brand/country the rice is from. But i do agree different brand of rice taste different as some rice requires more/less water than the other brands.
I didnt notice any changes from the rice I eat... As long as they can fill up my stomach thats probably enough for me. So I can stay away fm hunger...
my parents dislike Thai rice because it smell like "mouse shit" as my mom puts it; maybe its because our family members dont smoke, so our olfactory sensor are extra sensitive. the rice I am eating are from USA. the rice flour I am talking about is from THAILAND and China. when made into cake they taste funny( sticky, glutinous). when we use the rice from the USA ( ground up with a blender), the cake tastes fine. BTW, we make our own 鬆糕 (Rice pudding cake or sponge cake, I think thats what its called.) and yes, rice does have a taste, when you eat rice next time....taste it carefully, you will find it.
