not sure if this is a repost or not but found this poor girl's site just 5 minutes ago...apparently she bought some poisonous sandals from walmart that totally messed up her feet...hmm think twice before u buy from places like the dollarstore or walmart =/..(i put the dollarstore in here because of the recent findings of lead in children's toys) http://www.lamanaphotography.com/walmart.htm
wow! Im surprised to hear that. When i shop for my sandals i go to surf stores and buy stuff like Billabong, Globe and etc.
pics look like she was allergic to the plastic or whatever the sandle straps are made of, cause if they are poisonous, government agencies would have been all over it
couldn't really tell if they were poisonous because wal-mart didnt even try to look into it. it also stated that it wasnt a rash... and if a few more people show up with it, then it's possible that it's not just an allergic reaction. i wonder if she still had the flip flops... then she could just get them tested.
Woah...it looks really painful. I would be in total agony if I were in her situation, and I think walking would just hurt so much! Her sores look very unpleasant.
hmmm she says that she's worn latex/rubber styled sandals before and never had an reaction...also said that she isnt allegeric to previously stated... "All I wanted to do was let them know that there might be a problem with some Chinese made shoes since I am not allergic to latex or rubber."
