PS3 or Xbox 360 in long run Right now , xbox 360 is selling 4 to 1 compared to the ps3. And in Japan wii is dominating the market. In the long run who do you think will be the most sucessful console? For me I think its the PS3, because of the lack of american game developers. Like the xbox original there were just so little games, and majority of them being shooter games. I like variety and my RPGs. What do you think? I just sold my xbox 360 and bought a ps3. The PS3 is rumored to have some technical problems, I had a set unable to insert a disc. Sent it back for a new set. But even though of this problem with the ps3, I think i will be keeping it, as I have had the 360 since it came out and the games arent that tempting. What do you think? for me in the long run it has to be ps3, because ive always enjoyed the sony exclusive games more, like MGS also i dont want to fork out for an xbox 360 and then a hd dvd drive as well ps3 is now reaching a price thats getting competitive
360 is 4 to 1 becuz it came out so long ago...they only look at how many sold...right now, after 6 months, visuals comparing PS3 and 360...the PS is starting to beat out the 360
by the time ps3 games comes out everyone is already going to ahve a xbox 360 and wont want to spend money to by the ps3
i dont think ps3 will ever go below $499 though... but ps3 seems to be worth it because of the blu-ray and should be selling more and more each month since a blu-ray player is only like $50 less than the ps3..
people are hatin on the PS3 now, but once MGS4, GTA IV, FFXIII, God of War 2, Devil May Cry 4 and GT5 come out, everyone will be scrambling to own one
ps3 hasn't built up enough steam yet with their game lineup...once that heavy hitters come out the xbox360 will be scrambling to catchup. On top of that if you look at it from a tech stand point the ps3 has got better pieces of technology imbed and should last longer than the xbox360.
Once they get all the manufacturing/production quirks/yields all out and their games start flying off the shelf, it eventually will. Well, at least after they recover some of their losses in one way or another. They also need to really make sure their Playstation Network/Home works out to everyones' liking, such that they get close to or even out with Live. Or one can even dream of it going further and even beat out Live.
can't say im a fan of either...so neither in the long run...but those damn games are hell appealing...
for me it'll be the xbox, ps3 hasnt really got going with the price tag and game lineup so far, ppl might lose interest

A lot of really good games are coming out. Some for this holiday season, but most of them will be released next year.
i say ps3, its a really great system if you have ps2 and/or ps1 and/or psp. and plus u get to watch movies + blu-rays. and the graphics are great
