How does one get to the custom firmware 3.40oe? am i supposed to do incremental custom firmware updates aka 3.03-3.10-3.30-3.40 (currently at 3.02)

 

you downgrade to 1.50 then up to whatever OE firmware you wish to use

any FW under/or 3.50 can be downgraded atm

i went on the pspiso website and looked on the guide it was good, but downgrading your psp from 3.50 to 1.5.... is lumines the only umd u could use?? can u use any others???

 

yep lumines is the only one you can use, but whats the problem its cheap and plentiful

better than back in the days when you could only downgrade 3.03 and below with rare unpatched copies of liberty city stories

 

this sucks... i just got a gps 290 thru the mail, and had mapthis work perfectly, but the gps just doesnt pick up.... frustrating..

no no, im outside.. but what i did is that i erased the whole homebrew, and installed one that was uploaded by some dude, and had the same psp specs like me... it works... it detected 3 satellites... in like... 20 seconds... and they say it takes ten minutes to detect... lol

now all i need to do is upload a toronto map... its preloaded with singapore map cuz they guy was from there...

yea, 3.40oe-a

it doesnt lag... it does take a second or two to load the map.. and a minute or two to detect and lock on to 4 satellites

 

Where did you download the Toronto Map? I've always wanted to try the GPS but didn't know there was a Toronto map LOL
