If it's just a casual chat, and the two of you already hooked up, I think there's no problem with a short call every day, in the evening or at night, you know... Just to ask how her day has been. You can usually sense if she's not that comfortable talkin to you every day, then u can cut down on ur calls. For me, I'd prefer my guy to call me at least once a day Just to know I am still alive... haha.
That's the problem man. Guys have got ego and pride backing up their actions. Can't they be more straight forward and honest like girls? =p
well girls arent all that straight forward either they like to drop hints like they always say if they like a guy then say it why hide around waiting for the guy to say it
if we were going out, and we were liked/loved each other, then calling everyday to talk to her would be fine. but if you guys aren't realy going out, and shes not really feeling you, then call her once every while but not every single day, shes gonna start not liking you as much.
ok imo.... DO NOT ASK HER seriously DONT....! either u call her every day or u dont...but never ask... that shows ur insecure..which is a bit of a turn off... i dont think u should call everyday....maybe just 4 or 3 times a week... keeps things exciting... and makes her curious and wondering when u gonna call her.... no fun if she knows ur gonna call her every day...gotta keep things unpredictable!!
^^ i agree, plus if you only call a few times a week, the conversations are more better as you have more stuff to talk about. But then like everything else it really depends on the person. Some girls expect their guy to call everyday. When you say "hooked up" do you mean gf/bf or just seeing each other or what? Sometimes when we say hooked up, it might mean "hooked up at a party", as in got drunk and made out whatever. But i'm guessing its not the case in this situation
So if she's your gf, just ask her lar. She'd probably think you're sweet for caring about how comfortable she is with your excessive attention. -^_^ I know I felt my bf was sooooo sweet when he asked me.
I have to agree, do not ask. Its like asking "how many times do you want to see me?", it sounds so..... stupid. I think the frequency of calls depends on the age too. When I was younger, me and my gf used to talk on the phone everyday, each call ranged from 3-6 hours. When I got my first cellphone and my phone bill averaged between 5000-7000 minutes used a month. When we started to work the phone became shorter because we ere busy, but we always feel the need to call each other at least once a day.

I'll be as blunt as possible. Find out what you want from her, if you like her call her every other day at least to show that you're interested in her. anything longer show that you just aren't into her. If you don't want to stress over it, then just call her, if she doesn't pick up then she probably doesn't want to talk to you. It's really that simple. You'll get a better impression. it's better than blowing hot then cold. I hate guys like that. Just go for it, honestly what do you have to lose. Girls like guys, who know what the hell they're doing.
Yeah if you really like this girl then just call her when you want to. You can usually tell whether they want you to keep calling or not when you speak to them. If the convos get boring, then give it a rest for a day or 2 otherwise it would be awkward to just make up stuff on the spot to fill time. Kind of like a comedian writing up material before a stand up show, lol. Oh and don't make the mistake of telling them you're gonna call them later that night and then forget to do so because you went out or were busy. I got f -ed up many times by my chick for that hahaha
