jst a question for pa members to answer, mine was talkin to a mate of mine back in elementary school; about moving to Japan to become a well known animator XD...guess ive changed my ideas til now, but it has come up to me quite recently again...prolly i do wana be an animator, but god knows what plans he has for me hehe... And to the pa members, would u stil pursue them even to now, when ur in adulthood?
Being a Graphic Designer or a Creative Director or anything else that has to do with advertising and being creative. There was an exclusive marketing school but I thought it was a bit too risky to give it a try because you had to pay a huge school fee. Ended uip somewhere else but I'm still in the media related branch. And ya, if I get the chance to, I would try to pursue my childhood dreams!
an air hostess or a singer lol... but turns out...im a bad swimmer and im not a very good singer too....lol there goes my dream.... hmmm...what am i studyin now? international business....hmmm how asian...! what i wanna be now...? Hmmm...tourguide would be cool...id be satisfied with that...luv travellin...
my childhood dream was to become filthy rich. buy my parents a house and a limo for them to ride in. my dream will never come true now....
Actress (can't be serious) Doctor(failed biology) Singer ( i don't sound "wow") Teacher (i love kids but, i worry about the years i would have to study in college) A funny dream i had when i was a child was ,owning a candy store all to myself =).
*SIGH* I don't really know. My bro is studying to be a architect too but, my dad object thinking it's like construction. And then, i have my parents telling me to become this and, become that. I really want to meet their standards but, it's too confusing (not to mention the fact that i should REALLY start deciding) =(
Singer...Sometime out of tune... Actor...Don't know how to start this career... Police...Not easy to enter Rich...not that freaking easy... Now in uni doing IT...that points out my incoming career....not exciting doing IT >.<
^ i wanted to be rich too =). But i was like how many lottery tickets do i have to buy T.T Oh, i'm 15 =(.
Uhm, don't mean to set you up against your parents but I think it's better if you would choose something you would love to do as it's about your own future and it's not serving your parents pride. And no offense but your parents sound like they still have old fashioned ideas when it comes to professions if they think being an architect is like construction? Try asking relatives to explain what you would like to do once you've figured that out...it may work! (parents tend to believe other people easier than hearing it from you)
I totally wanted to be a marine biologist. But I suck at biology. Also, swimming. (I just wanted to swim with dolphins like the people at Ocean Park lol) Then I switched to Graphic Designer and I'm in school for that right now -smart
Oh yeah, the strict Asian ideals...you're either a doctor, lawyer, engineer or businessman or you FAIL AT LIFE. <_< J/K but I had so many friends with parents like that...but if you become what they want you to become you might end up hating your craeer/degree and then its too late to change...a few of my friends dropped out cuz they couldn't take the pressure from the parents. And architect is awesome, my mom's friend always brags about her architect son (you know how Asians parents love to compare you to their friends' kids...). My 1st year I took Journalism... my grandma thought I was becoming one of those HK gossip rag writers/papparazi -lol
^...my childhood dream....-boat I had a classmate who loved dolphins very much and she managed to achieve her dreams of becoming a dolphin trainer! (there are special programs to become a dolphin trainer? But you do need to swim though haha)
damn, only 15, u cant even drive yet, dont worry too much about the future, u got years ahead of u to decide
