Two questions here... 1. Do women like it THAT much when a guy sings to them [ASSUMING THEY SOUND DECENT]? My ex used to bug me to sing to her a lot and while I'd love to oblige, I generally can't (more on that in a bit). Girls also used to bug me a lot to sing... so is it just more along the lines of teasing or getting a guy to do something they don't normally do? 2. What low pitched ballads/slow jams do you recommend? I am a tenor so I can't really sing high. I also have migraines so falsetto isn't really an option either. Time to brush up on some songs..
hmm dont know any good songs that you could sing but when it comes to singing to girls if you can impress them they will love you or even just trying to sing to them but looking at your situation their just really really curious whether or not you can sing cause maybe you look a person that can lol but try some of wang lee homs songs like "Kiss Goodbye"
I know my ex loved it when I sang to her... but hmm... me looking like I can sing... never really thought of that... they prolly got that idea cuz I played the violin... I like Leehom's songs... used to love "Wei Yi"... but I dunno mandarin... guess I can memorize.. =P
haha memorizing is good xD, but the violin huh usually when a guy plays the violin usually sets off a thing that makes you seem like you cant sing, but if you play the piano ^^ girls will be swarming all over you, well thats in my experience neways

You can also train by recording your singing and post it on PA to get feedback from members! And to answer your question, yes it is a bonus if the guy can sing to me, but of course he must sound good and also not out of tune... lol. And your poll doesn't have this option - Yes.. they absolutely adore it... IF YOU SING WELL.

lol... I'll pass on the recording... My singing is for privileged ears only and I intend to keep it that way... Serious singing at least Forgot to add that bit... I meant it more as Yes.. they absolutely adore it... as long as the guy sounds decent... Effort counts doesn't it? umm... let's just say things got to the point where some people started to think I was a player... so I don't think I needed to add on to that rep... They didn't help me clear my rep until grad year... don't ask... complicated story... >< Well... I did sing to her in the past... we're not together anymore though... just brushing up on my arsenal now... Always wanted to play the piano actually.. just could never afford the lessons... I only learned violin through school improving the most at high school due to a great teacher that frequently gave me pointers... Anyways.. Craig David... Rendezvous... Not all my teachers were good... and I went through 5 of them... The first one was avg, second and third were fun, fourth one sucked so I normally skipped, my high school teacher was the fifth one. During high school there were many competitions and public performances... the teacher saw that I loved the violin since I would often go in to practice on my own. Turns out she was also training me to become the next concert master. Everything added up.
ahah thats sweet, what a great teacher, but maybe you can learn to play the guitar since you got used to playing stuff in the strings sections

Singing to your gf....LOL! I can only laugh at your attempt to recount your past not because it is histerical or naive, but it is exactly what I have been through or have done. I use to be like you, she would ask me to sing and I would. I play the piano and the auto sax, was also in choir for a very long time as a child and got pretty good at music. I can say that my voice aint that abd, anyways...she would ask me to sing to her in person while we are out star-gazing on the beach or over the phone to serenade her to sleep. I use to sing very retro-pop like Nysnc - This I promise you to her and songs I have written myself. She told me she loved it...AT THAT MOMMENT! Girl only like it at the momment. The mommentary sweetness brings forth their smile, however it is only at that momment. As the momment passes and turns to dust, to becomes nothing more then a memmory, at laughable memmory at that. Concerning love songs you should sing, you should sing love songs that defines your tone. Tenor eh....I would pick Kci and JoJo for you. Stretch your voice a bit...it will be hot!
