http://www.dramasian.com/forum/search.php?searchid=505299 lidool.tk posting in old threads with worthless comments
beckham all posts deleted i looked through the users post and alot are months old spammer! registered in 2005 and still doesn't know best
o0olalas is digging some threads in the chinese entertainment section that is 1-2 years old http://www.dramasian.com/forum/search.php?searchid=518679
i don't get this... so you guys don't want ppl to dig up old posts? what's the purpose? doesn't this help people not to post a similar question again? btw, cant u guys just close topics before a certain date? works for a personal forum of mine.
^digging up strings of old stuff cause we have had serial spammers trying to collect post count by posting in every single thread possible it messes with the forum big time, when you see posts dated bout a year ago, and you cant find the recent stuff and it would take too long for the mods to close every old thread
Well yeah, I propose to close those specific problem-related questions threads after a while, for eg. those "What should I do?" or "Help me" types coz it is very irritating when a noob comes along and replies to the OP ages after, and the OP isn't even active anymore.
^ not to forget closing the old entertainment news as well. they are way outdated and kinda confused me because this oOolalas was posting them and I thought they were hot news before I check on the date...
it would be nice to have some of those threads closed, but how do you figure out which ones are dead? Is it when there has been no post in it for x days, but that means a mod has to watch every thread till it dies for x days. too much work i say just ban those who dig up loads of old threads sequentially for those who just post in the odd old thread, let em be, give em a warning or educate them, etc
