World's Highest Escalator The 173 meter tall Umeda Sky building consists of two towers which are connected with each other by couple of "suspended" escalators and the "Floating Garden Observatory" on the 39th floor. Check out the escalator up in the air joining the two towers. It is said to be the world’s highest escalator which is suspended 550-feet (167m) above the ground.
wow looks cool~!! tho i'm sure i'd b kinda freaked out in an escalator so high up >< where is it located?
Isn't that the building that had a big ball shape building, or is it another one??? That escalator looks so scary and fun at the same time
can't even see the bottom in the first pic...freaky.......and awesome!...amazing architecture as well..
really want to be there to see it myself but japan its too far away and expensive prob just dream it with these photos
wow...the most people would suddenly develope a fear of heights after a ride in that tower.nice view though.
oo, highest escalator. i took it as the longest escalator, ^_^; i think the longest one is the one at ocean park in hk. that has got to be pretty cool though. if i ever go to japan, i'd definitely try that out.
that's exactly what i was thinking too.. you can pull out a book to read or eat some snacks (if food is allowed) while on the escalator. haha. bring a folding chair.
wonder how long i'd take to fall from the top.... think i saw a vid of someone ski down those escalators
