my neighbours have a white CTS, its pretty hot, but they arent chinese lol. yeah, today i went and drove a used G35 for the hell of it and then went back to the lexus dealership to drive the IS again to compare, i was actually looking for the TSX but the acura dealership didnt have any in stock -noclue (just 2 extremely sexy TL type S's [which unfortunately, start at 49 thousand and are way out of my pricerange] ). the G35 was insanity on wheels... it was soooo fuken fast, honestly i felt like i had all the power in the world in that thing, it was 39 G for used with the M6 package and it was in silver, but i prefer white. It was definitely a blast to drive, but overall I felt the car was impractical for daily driving, especially in winter. The interior felt like a cave, it was hella dark and seemed designed to make u focus on the road, not so much the amenities of the vehicle. also I dont think i want to spend 39 grand on a used vehicle, no matter how awesome it is afterwards i went to drive the lexus again and this time, without my mom there, i bagged it hard, paddle downshifting in all the corners and flooring it out of the curves. it held up pretty well even under that kind of driving and i was extremely impressed. overall I think the vehicle itself is incredible, even without all the options, that in canada, we have to pay out the anus for. So today i placed my order for sure for an 08 White lexus IS with the basic leather package for 40 G. Im gonna have to wait 3 months for it, but its alright, leaves me some time to make more money and anticipate its arrival

no difference in standard features... the 08 costs 5 dollars more. its just the order, i only needed to put 1000 down to get it here. when we buy i will transfer all my money to my mom and she will just write a cheque
did u already sign the contract for buying the car? i don't know about canada but over here in the US money talks (cash in hand). i remember when buying my motorcycle, i went in with 9 grand in hand and i got a dam good deal for my bike. sticker was at 8500 and i got it for 8200 out the door. funny thing was that i only had about 2 grand in 100s and the rest were 20s. took them a while to count all that. if u guys haven't already agreed on a price yet, just slam down that 40 grand on the table and demand ur price. tell them that u'll get paid rite here and now.

as far as i see it, most tuner cars are a waste of money, unless its a Skyline, Supra, Silvia, EVO or WRX. things like 1990's civics, or del sols or integras are vehicles that arent worth modifying. In many cases you can end up with a fairly nice looking vehicle after the application of subtle body kits and minor aerodynamic modifications, but in the end, its still a civic (or whatever). The only time i would think about buying an old honda or acura and modifying it, would be if i was focusing only on power, ie. supercharging/turbocharging a B16 engine and aiming for like 400-500 HP to blow away other cars on the straightaways, which might be sometihng to do in the future when i have extra cash lying around. Im buying a lexus cuz it has a respectable look and package right out of the factory. And its not like the IS250 isn't a tuner car, iv seen many of them slammed and decked out with 19" deep dish rims, which is what i plan on doing; and sporting cold air intakes, exhausts and CF parts just like other tuner vehicles.

i wouldn't mind caring around 40g's in my pocket. just have sum friends around u when u do. most i had in my pocket was 10 g's when i went to buy my bike. cls 55 r nice. i don't really like it though. it looks more of a chop top. if i really had the money i would go with a sl 55 and maybe a... what was it a clk 63? i thnk its that one. the black series though.
man, im so happy i chose the IS now, every time i see a pic of it my heart skips a beat and i cant wait for it to be delivered... aaghhh omg i cant wait to get back behind the wheel lol
the is250 was actually my second choice. after test driving it after i bought my car, the IS wasn't to my liking. the seat is way too soft for me. if i ever take it on a long cruise, i might fall asleep. steering is way too soft. i think the sports package only came on the is350. other than those two things, the car is fine. i do like the paddle shifting though. with my c-class had that.
