Question: How do you burn a dvd?

Answer: To "burn" or copy a dvd, you must first have the appropriate software installed on your computer. Such as: DVD Clone, Nero or others.

no, you just select the files you want to burn, then in the programme there's a option for you to click on where it says: Burn dvd or something similar to that

I think alcohol 120% can be used for those files cuz most burning programmes dont recognize rmvb, or you can convert those rmvb into avi first

If your dvd player is Divx or Xvid compatible, just burn the avi normally and it should play on your dvd player.

Will the file be too big in avi format?

why is it so big?? A dvd has got 4,7 GB, I've never saw any movies larger than that even if it's dvd quality. But you could split up the files if its too big.

usually avi format isnt too big, and no dvd vid file ever takes up the whole 4.7 gb

There are dual layer dvds, but you're right, most dvd vids don't exceed the 4.7 gb capacity.
