So I downloaded "Miscrosoft Windows XP Professional Retail - Service Peck 2 Integrated May 2007" and I thought that the crack would work.. which in fact it does not. The problem is, that its only a 30days trial. Nothing wrong with that, right? Well, my question is that when the trial is over.. would I've to install the old package that I originally had or does it just go back to normal?! I'm incredibly scared that when this trial's over.. everything will crash& not be normal without the original pack.. plus this isn't my computer, it's shared. ALSO, there's this thing on the bottom right hand corner with a little key thing and when I hover over it, it says "#days till activation".. I'm tremedously afraid that it will just I don't know, everything will go wrong after the trials over >.< shouldn't have download this stupid software..

If you wait to activate, you can still use windows, but you will receive periodic reminders. After ## days, you must activate windows before you can use it. So, doesn't that means like only that software or means everything? Anyways.. can I uninstall it? Will anything else happen?
I must ask this... but what convinced you to download a cracked version of win xp? i believe a reformat and reinstall of what you had before should solve the expiration date problem...
You can "uninstall" winodws xp, by formatting or installing another xp version that you have. However, be sure to backup your information before you do that. If you want to activate it, just find yourself a valid windows xp key. Knoc
Where can I find a valid windows xp key? Anyways, I downloaded because its a pirated copy that my cousin got me when he was on holiday so decided to download.. will never do so again. So if I reformat will all the original microsoft software be installed on it or will I just gonna have to get another one as well? Thanks.
buy a new one best thing is just reinstall the old legit copy you had to begin with and stick with that key, should be a sicker on your pc with the original key
Not everyone is willing to dish out hundreds for a copy of windows xp when they can get it for free online.
try searching in google. search for AntiWGA it fix 30 days activation and remove piracy icon next to the time.
So, what should I do then? & dim8sum - I don't have it because I had people do it for me plus I can not contact them now because I've moved long away from them.. damn I'm screwed. There's only like less than 20 something days. I don't want my computer to be unusable =*(
i had quite a laugh when i tried to hack a college computer only to find that all the pcs in the college were running on a cracked version of xp, not sure how they done it but the 30 day trial stayed on 30 days.
Search for a good crack .. plenty of my friends running their pcs on pirated XP without any problems.
Just go to Isohunt or torrentspy and type in Windows Xp. There are plenty of good cracks. If you're really desperate install Linux.
basically i think you can stil use your pc fine, however you will be limited to downloading critical security updates and not any other updates and you get an annoying icon in the system tray telling you your xp is pirate
