Sounds like a bunch of Diablo players making random assumptions out of every little true/false detail. Not trustworthy at all. If I believed everything I heard on the Internet, then I would be licking my toes and poking my eyes.
but the graphic engine is gonna gonna continue using directx 9.0c ......... thought maybe if blizzard is gonna release it next year, should at least upgrade the imoplement directx 10 into the game. If they release SC2 next year, the graphic gonna sux compared to other RTS game coming out next year.
^ Doesn't matter Blizzard has something that a lot of those other RTS's don;t. A huge fan base. Most of those directX 10 games won't run well on older computers. Starcraft 2 does O_O
it will be the hottest game in town when it's out... well since the zerg section is still in beta testing... so i guess the fastest release date will be early next year.... btw, the official website is http://www.starcraft2.com now i'm playing back starcraft to get ready for it...hahaha
the gameplay trailer is awesome. blizzard games are known to be less demanding, so current generation graphics cards should be able to handle the game.
i can't wait for sc2 but considering blizzard's track record, it won't come out for sometime..perhaps end of 08?
I saw the starcraft 2 preview and the game is awesome. Totally different from starcraft: brood war or any expansion set. Looking forward for the game to release.
I donno, I love SC, and I can't wait for SC II, but I doubt Blizzard is gonna release it soon. Look at StarCraft: Ghost. It got delays year after year after year. I hope SC II would come out soon, but I doubt that I actually would.
yeah, it got canceled after like 3 years of delays. hope that "far along in development" means there is less than a year to go. i can only sit and hope.
GAH! i found my brother's starcraft games, but i dont wanna use his key to go on bnet cuz he wont be able to use it after that.. any of you guys got a key you dont need anymore? plllleeeeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeee?!?!
Starcraft was good for a while. Starcraft 2 probably won't introduce anything revolutionary to the RTS genre though. So i'm not too hyped up about this game.
I was a starcraft fan and i just loved the strategic and intense battles. But Im not so looking forward to SC2 as I was when starcraft came out. I just think the new units and graphics make the game look amazing but I think they purposely make the new units have one major weakness which is another unit from another race and that has a major weakness from another unit from another race.... I just dont think it would be as good as SC1. But Im still going to get it if i have a better PC.
