I'm thinking of getting a new cell phone but I've no idea what's good out there. I want a phone with a camera and one that slides instead of the flip up... any suggestions?
Price range please! If you got money to spend then you could get a sony ericsson. But the first step would be deciding on what carrier you want so you can see the phones they have available. So take a look at some of the phone plans they offer and choose the carrier that suits you best.
Yeah, price range gives you a good start... But as far as I know, the best camera phones are mostly SE... Unless you are ready to dish out some serious money.
the new K8xx series phone is gonna have a 5 megapixel cam and looks like a real nice phone/camera SE also have some nice slide phones, or samsung
i'm thinking maximum of say $200? well right now im using telus but im gonna change plans soon so...maybe to rogers. not sure...but can't spend more than that on a phone...

cant really get any good sliding phone besides maybe a samsung d800/d808/d807(all same but from different country). That phoen is $200 US or less there isnt anymore sliding phone with camera that is that low price range of yours.

thats what i always do...just get a plan...and u dont have to pay heaps at once... i dont like buying pre paid cards...it really sucks when u wanna call ppl but u cant cuz u dont have credits >_<

yep. and if you're like me your cards run would run out pretty fast lol But try to avoid anything above a 2 year contract if possible. 3 years just seems such a long time for me. If you can get a good price for a 1 year contract then do it.
I used to use pre paid when i was like 15 in holland...that was really really crappy...had to top up sooo often... So just told my mother to sign a contract and i'd pay the bill.... I never sign plans longer than 1 year...i know me...i get bored with my phones after a few months >.<

samsung U700, great phone but im not sure how much it costs xD, but im guessing a lil over 200 just a lil
u700 is over 200..unlocked its more like 400 brand new in box...200 dollars wont get you a good camera and slide phone these days unless you want something that looks really bad..a used good slide phone with nice camera USED is already over 200
