Cold Feet

Just an idle question, how many of us suffer from having second thoughts about starting a relationship? What would your reasons be for slamming on the brakes or what not... >.>

 

General reasons:

Insecurities from previous relationships
Fear of rejection
Fear of losing independence
Having to spend money

 

To be honest.... I do....
At first im soooo into the guy....and we have a good thing going on...spending lots of time together, long phone calls and all that...
But once it gets too serious and almost becomes a relationship ...for some reason....
I dont like him anymore...just like that... without him doing something wrong in particular....
The feelings (maybe excitement) are gone and i get cold feet....
And then is when the shit starts...=/...

 

Girls usually lose their excitement before guys, and it's like a law cause lately girls are the ones with the faster instincts to danger since they have to keep their sense on all the time.

but some guys think a lot about their relationship financially too cause you gotta spend some money to get the girl, but it all depends whos the girl i guess

isn't that almost a given, you have to invest some money at the very least... for both genders?

 

yeah... that's usually b coz i really don't like him that much n i pull away...

 

Costs-benefit ratio is the breaker for me.

 

yeah, mostly because of bad experiences from previous relationships. there's also a problem if I like him but don't see a long relationship with him, because I don't want to hook up with him feeling like I'll break up with him eventually

yeah. it's the thrill of the chase

 

i know....my friends keep saying to me that im like a guy sometimes cuz mostly its the guys who do this kinda stuff =/

 

I did it to a guy once. we didn't start going out or anything but he told me that he liked me back and after a week or so, all my feelings just went away. then this guy that I liked for a long tim told me he liked me for hella long too and after we hooked up for about 2 weeks, his friend told me that he lost interest in me. so yeah -down but I don't think this is gender specified, it just depends on what kind of person you are

My, this is indeed interesting to know that Angie is like a guy...

If he liked you for a long time and lost interest after 2 wks, i doubt that he was really interested in you to begin with.

I've realized that when u think like a guy u wont get hurt that easily & it saves u a lot of drama.......so thats what i started doing that....makes my life so much easier
