Ever see the old man in the park doing taiji? Here my friend is why taiji got the name Supreme ultimate http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSnUDkCQ0WU (im not too savvy wif putting vids in a post)
Anyway this guy died in 1991 so its too late to learn from him. But my dad is one of the skinny guys getting owned LOL so yea.

If ya dont believe it fair enough, but all I can say is I do... cuz my dad can do wat he does to a certain extent... not as pro i guess. Just sick of ppl ripping other ppl off pretending to teach the real deal when they have no idea what the real deal actually is.

I have now revealed to you a valuable lesson in the world of Martial Arts!

at first glance people will think its fake though, but I've seen it in real... I was like wtf??? its really amazing

  5. in order for the guys to fall that far down requires the master to release an enormous amount of body energy *chi, ki, kai, whatever you may call it) and combining it with the opponent's body energy to repel him back.

altho i was in that situation before, and i have felt that energy pushed me back, it cannot push me back as far as those in the video.

    reason being:

    1) the men in that video did not have a strong stance to begin with, so toppling them would be easier. thats why they fall so far back.
    2) pay attention to time index 1:36 for example. the dude tripped while the master stayed absolutely still.. whats up with that.

altho i dont think anything is wrong with taichi itself, i do think the repelling is a bit exaggerated, considering i have sparred with taichi trained people, and know the feeling.

nah it's because there's is a audience in the background. It's not like they're brawling in a competition; this is just for shows and it's a little exaggerated.

It just look very fake for some reason. The old guy hardly used any force and the opponent moved like 10 yards back.

  17. like i said, that shit is true, if you know which pressure point to press you can be relaxed, but falling like that is a wee bit far fetched..
