A SIX-year-old girl was sexually assaulted before being hanged in the garage of her family's home in the US state of Texas, police say. The body of Hannah Mack was found by her mother in the rural lakeside town of Navarro Mills on Monday. Police have said little about the investigation but have made no arrests nor named any suspects, the Associated Press reported. "I will confirm that the hanging and sexual assault were part of this scenario," Navarro County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Mike Cox said today. Mr Cox said several people had been interviewed and no one ruled out as a suspect. "We don't want to do anything that would compromise a successful prosecution of this case," he said. Navarro County Judge Vicki Gray said an autopsy of the body showed "a multitude of events that together caused the death of this child". No other details were released. Police had asked welfare officials to not say whether Hannah's family had been investigated by child protection officers, said Texas Department of Family and Protective Services spokeswoman Marissa Gonzales. Members of the community, about 100km south of Dallas, said they were concerned by the official silence and worried a predator remained on the loose. "I'm just concerned about the kids out there," said Harold Hocutt, 75, a neighbour who knew the girl's family. "Little girls. Little boys. It's just something you don't forget. Every time I drive by (Hannah's house), I cry."
another horrible case and he treated her as if she weren`t a humanbeing.i hope they will catch the predator/murderer and punish him real hard for his hideous crime.
Its horrible, but stuff like this happen in the world now a days. I remember a young girl got kidnapped and was later found in several pieces. Disgusting what humans are capable of.

Supposedly the mother's boyfriend was arrested because he was a suspect. The police found child pornography in his computer.

Similar case was recently happen in my home town Penang, Malaysia. The girl is not kipnapped but was murder by her mom boyfriend. Chop into many pieces as well. The girl never rest in peace as police discover only some of the pieces, the remaining still in vein. Think of the world today, they are disgust & inhuman.
