dammit.. the touch is so TEMPTIN rite now...y does it have wireles??? y is it touchscreen? dammit!! without those i would have gone for ipod classing....now im like forced to get the touch ... its cheaper in hk and no TAX... TEMPTATION... must get one
Really cool & brilliant iphone!!! I think that with all the things that the iPhone can do (and perhaps technology that will be already built into the phone but not used until later) the phone is priced well. Even just the technology that the iPhone is using makes it worth the money when Apple's production, research and development costs are factored in: they've done a good job pricing it accordingly (and they're praying to sell millions so that they can recoup their costs and then make a profit - 4g and 8's).-blush2 It's a cellphone, MP3 player, camera and a smart phone so adding them all up separately would cost alot more. Plus, being that it is a Mac product smacks of high quality and probably not one to be released with a ton of bugs.-innocent2 Out of reach for most? Definitely, especially when you factor in a data plan that HAS to go with it; no way out of that one. And then there's the little accessories here and there like docking station, leather/hard shell case and screen protectors, to name a few. Either way, can't deny that it is one very cool device.-noclue

i personally like the 5G ipod better, because it looks sleeker-bigclap the new one is too.....i guess visually dull
I got the Ipod touch over here in the UK the first week of October, after reading ur reviews about the low memory, low battery life, expenisive price tag......i still cudn't care less haha. I reckon it's one of the smartest things to come out in a long time from Apple, wenever i'm bored i can go on youtube to pass time at a wireless access, (plenty where i'm from) load any movies/animes to wotch on a pretty decent sized screen compared to the ipod video and listen to countless songs. Those who complain there isnt enuf memory....wot the hell are u going to do with a billion songs on a mp3 player at once? If it ever packs in and u have to reboot ur mp3 then good luck with the time wasted, when u can load wot u need and be on ur way. stop with the hating and move on
yeah true but u can then say whats the point of getting a usual ipod. its gd to be able to have a lot of space on ur mp3 so that if u have an urge to listen to a certain song u can. but yea the ipod touch does give u enough space for most of ur songs anyway so i don't see why ppl are complaining seeing the capability and size of the thing. its quite amazing to think that just a few years ago mp3 players didn't even exist.
