The portrait of this girl was hand-sketched by an artist a long time ago. There's a myth that goes along with it, but I'll tell you guys about that after you post your comments about the picture. What you're supposed to do is stare into the girl's eyes (ONLY HER EYES) for a long time. You should see 'something' and feel a certain way...if you do, make sure you describe it to all of us! DON'T WORRY, NOTHING IS GOING TO POP OUT! IT'S JUST A PIC.
the longer i look into her eyes the bigger the picture gets, she seems to move out or get fatter.. the picture moves! *tried it again and this time her mouth seems to move and almost thought i saw her mouth dissapear too or her facial expression changes
focus on her face seems to blur when i focus for too long on the eyes... i dont feel that the picture was suppose to menacing, but i cant make out the emotion that the artist is trying to convey either... i thought she was sad to begin with and then after looking for awhile she seemed to be smiling. Also gives me an unsettling feeling, that seemngly innocent look gets rather creepy. hurry post ppl i wanna hear the story =P
Same here! I didn't notice anything weird the first time I stared at it, but after I stared at it a 2nd time I saw her facial features changing. Kinda like what lionheart said..she was kinda giving me 'mean' looks. Like the shape of her eyes were changing, and if you stare at it long enough, her whole face disappears. I think the artist painted it to look like an optical illusion of some sort. Anyway what you are supposed to see is two different faces of men before their death. The story from what I've heard is that according to some sources this was some urban legend of this drawing by an unknown artist, of a girl. The girl killed herself after she was raped by this guy, and her griefed boyfriend (the artist) suicided after completing the painting. However the painting was soon aquired by this man (the guy who raped the girl) and once he saw it, he went bad, gorged his eyes and killed himself. Sources had said that people who are able to see the drawing for what it actually is will go mad, and some eventually suicided. So there are a whole bunch of different speculations of whatever things are seen from the picture, but honestly.....how the heck do you know what was seen if all those affected are too mad to tell you truthfully? LOL! So for those of you who are freaking out, don't take this tale too seriously.
hahaha good one, its intresting but i don't think i'll go mad. maybe one day but not day! its a very neat illusion.
yea i kinda expected it was going to be like that... shouldve added a twist to it yourself like if you stare at her for so and so amount of time she will visit you... just to make the story more interesting.
lol, but that's even less believable! Anyway, I had a few of my friends stare at the pic but they didn't see anything strange about it at all. The girl who sent the pic to my friend who sent it to me said she saw something 'evil' and that she almost threw up. She said that the girl didn't look too pretty or innocent, the way most ppl thought when seeing the picture. I don't know, I think it's all in our minds. I mean when you look at anyone's picture for THAT long you 'ought to see something. Also the artist's painting technique adds to the ghostly elements. Like the dark colors, long hair, and shading around the eyes...hmm. Now I'm starting to get a head ache... Here's another picture that someone darkened graphically: It's supposed to add to the effect or something. *shudders*
Hey! I saw this before...I remember getting dizzy after staring at the screen for so long. Nothing weird about it though. It looks like it's been digitally altered...doesn't look like it's hand-drawn.
