i thought the sex museum would be on this list but evidently, it's not. haha. more absurb things to add to the always growing only in america group :p who would dream of being buried in a CHICKEN-shaped casket?? i wonder what kind of dream that guy had.. but although these museums are quite wacky, i think i'd actually go to a few just to see what i could learn from them. roadtrip!

the one i'm talking about is in NY. when i went there for a school thing one summer there was an advertisement for it as i was in the bathroom in a restaurant.

It was one of the overrated museums in NYC... Tiny, small AND cliche curation... -sweat

^ Nothing far, just a few cities in US and Canada... I have only been to 2 continents so far (Asia and North America), so it really was nothing to write home about, my travelling experience. -sweat

But I really adore the MoMA (Museum of Modern Arts) and Guggenheim at NYC, Met was overrated unless you are a Classical and/or Renaissance junkie. Though to be frank, the best works of those eras are in Europe anyways... Natural History (and its attached Planetarium) was not as impressive as the one in DC (on the Smithsonian strip), so... -sweat

Same here! I hate dolls and a bunch of those weird looking wooden dolls is just too creepy.

(Anyone ever seen Magic (1978) with a young Anthony Hopkins as a ventriloquist?)
