Scenes of graphic and gore...watch at own risk. In Theaters October 26.
Errr....i thought it was ok to watch because i already finished my lunch...but that was kinda gore.... its getting a bit too much for me...i enjoyed 1 and 2....3 was ok...but 4 might be a bit too yuck for me....=/
Hmmmm, I think SAW need some new element to sustain its "King of Torture P*rn" status. I mean, after 3 installments of pointless torturing (since I don't buy Jigsaw's "people don't value life until they faced death" BS), something fresh is totally called for... -unsure
u c hiake...imo 1&2 are really not the average i slaughter everyone, the more gross the better for fun thing like say "house of wax"...hence why i liked saw so much.... the storyline was quite good...but pt 3 wasnt that good...and i doubt 4 will be any better
i think horror sequels which go up to number 4 are usually just gimmicks to make more money, make that any movie sequel that go up to 4, usually just lose alot of inspiration or uses recycled material from the original...
I thought SAW 1 was brilliant, but SAW 2 was kind of lackluster already in the whole "apprentice" spin (though I must confess I LOVE the VCR trick) and SAW 3... nothing but a horribly made sequel. Talking about horror, I saw 2 French horrors during TIFF this year, Frontiere(s) and A L'interieur, the former was a lackluster torture p*rn (as I have said in another thread), but the latter was an AWESOME thriller/horror... low budget to the extreme, but the tension was UNBEARABLE! Got so wired after seeing it at midnight... Here's the trailer:
hmmm...checked out the trailer....dunno if its my kinda movie... looks scary...i live by by myself so im home alone all the time....and probably need someone to hold my hand while i watch it hahaha
You definitely will need someone to hold your hand during this film (A L'interieur) if you live alone, pregnant, or both. But it's a bloody mess of tension and thrilling cat-and-mouse play, I really hope it get wide distribution... Though I am quite sure it will become quite short, the wide-release edition, as there's no way in hell a directorial debut would be backed by major distributors if it's released under NC-17... >.< But the two directors are definitely ones to watch... -^_^
They ALWAYS look half decent, concentrating a 90 minutes+ film into a 3 minutes clip... If the trailer isn't decent, I would feel bad for the film.
