but wow still, it has so many features for that unbeatable price lol... That laptop with a crank in it has reached $188 USD i hear, it was only 100 dollars on paper lol
the $100 USD figure was the hope US aimed for for their One Laptop per Child (OLPC) campaign... Oh BTW, the RAM in the eee is replacable, up to 1gb (which really isn't too bad for a laptop) However, word is that the $199 version will NOT be released in the US, so the cheapest eee would be $259 in the US...
I totally agree...it sounded great when it was first introduced, but now that the official specs are out, you realize you really can't do much with it...not to mention that the price is higher than initially expected...
lol for less than 200 dollars vs a $1,000 computer already says alot if the 200 dollar one is the same as the 1,000 one then all the other companies would be screwed
