yeah i would never say it that easily, unless i really mean it. but for the OP's situation, she problably knew you didn't mean it? I couldn't say i love you to a girl i really like let alone some random or just a friend that i only want to MAKE OUT with. Plus alcohol and a bit of social skills can get you more than just making out
