depending on where you live that would be hard
cause if you live in Vancouver BC, you can get 90% of the HK food there
only difference is YES it does takste better in HK

here is a list of foods that I had that I can't find in Vancouver
    Po-Tart
    fried Intestines on a stick
    REAL fish meat sui mai
(sorry I didn't get to go to dim sum so there is probebly a list there)
    streeet food noodles
    that's about it

ok so a list of foods that tasted better on the HK side
Assorted beef noodle soup (the meat was comparable, but the noodle were out of this world)
Egg Tart - fresh from the oven
Stinky Tofu is just easier to aquire, you dont have to hunt it out very far

    um yea

^what is a po-tart??? never seen that at kfc before...
never tried real fish meat sui mai.
fried intestines i eat and enjoy it. is there a difference on a stick? does putting it through a chopstick count? :)

theres a place in chinatown where i live, they have fresh out of oven egg tarts. its hella better that way.
stinky tofu, theres only 2 places i know where i can get them here.

po-tart is like taang tart, only its kind of roasted

po-tart is similar to an egg tart
except they use pastry dough, the flaky one (in HK you will never find an egg tart with flaky crust, unlike in the US)
and they put sugar on top, so it carmalizes
    po for portuguese

in vancouver they have fish mean sui mai, but it's the same meat they put in the fish balls, so it's quite different
the one i had in HK, was like the, um when they stuff the fish paste into tofu/eggplant/bell peppers
yea that kind of fish paste

the the fried intestines, i've never had it in the USA or in canada, it's really thin, but rolled up into a spiral, and it's crispy
i have had intenstines in the Canada, but it's usually stir fried, and chewy
