so no one goes to college in america here? wow. -_- i'm doomed. lol. i'm probably going to go to cali for college because that's where everyone else goes. which is the same exact reason why i don't like cali but if i want to go to mid-continental US or east coast my family will frown at me.
^so how did you get in? i mean, you must have written an essay right? and i'm presuming your essay was on any topic of your choice? or was it "why do you want to come to this school?"
lol i just b.s. on the essay part and i still got in lol, well my college cared more about what extra-curricular activities and your progress history than the essay. Just write something about struggles, the selectors might be the emotional type, they fall for those beautiful struggles lol.
^ haha, that's what I would recommend to everyone writing an essay to get in a US uni. One of the teachers at my uni told us that Americans are suckers for surviving/struggling stories because they somehow can easily relate to/identify with it. Luckily for me we don't have to write an essay to get in a uni but If I had to write one I would write about a subject I like and know quite much of it and give my views on that subject. Just let them know you're full of ideas and mix that with some personal experiences. (Oh wait I did have to write an essay for an art college and it was about some film I've never seen -but the teacher advised me to write about it anyway- but they turned me down because I was too young)
