Nintendo DS Lite? Help?

Okay...well i just got a DS but then i dunt know how to operate it...lol
i know idiot...i dunno lots of things related to it...like y is ther 2 slots
and what about the DLing button...lol...omg..i dunno...help...-worship

I have an NDS. If you buy original games, just put it into the Slot 1 (top, shouldn't take you long to find out ;P) and voila, you can play the game.

If you want to purchase the R4, you'll have to buy a microSD memory card to store the games as well. It costs €70 as a package (here in the Netherlands), if you can ask a friend to buy it via HongKong it'll be much cheaper.
You'll still have to learn how to download the games onto your microSD. That's easy once you've done it once.

 

nah...you can get it in the states...just gotta order it online and have them ship it to you...pretty easy

 

i plan on getting a ds soon too >_< play it while waiting for class to start and during breaks. so bored during those times. =\ i just go to a cafe and order a ice lemon tea and wait for a hour...

contributed...so sumarizing the info given...slot 1 is the one
slot that can play the original games that are bought and the
second slot is for a special game card to DL the games too..

lol, your getting the wrong idea.

Slot 1(one on top) is for NDS games, could be used for original games and downloaded games
Slot 2(One on the bottom) is for GBA games, could also be used for original games and downloaded games

and don't bother getting a R4 or M3 simply coz they are out dated
get a CycloDS evolution (next generation compared with R4 and M3 simply)

Where ever your located you should be able to get a CycloDS evo

well it depends which one you call slot 1 and which one you call slot 2. also if it was just me i would just get the ds in hong kong, its cheaper there and you can get the r4 pretty cheap. dunno how much the cyclods evo is but with the r4 all of the good games that i know off can be played from it.

 

^ a clean mario kart rom can't be played on the ds with R4

well the r4 here cost $53 and the cyclods evo cost $70

 

i got ds month ago...still pplaying wif it^^.wont get bored cuz theres always new game...and if u use R4 or others u can always download new games. i think nintendogs very cute(can use wi-fi to plat wif other player), must try it...if u like rpg, u can try Final Fantasy iii, revenant wings or chronicle...some of them gt english version adn chinese version. another things for ds u can use the touch pad to draw...it way too fun(mus try dis if u interest in art...),even MSN and connect using wi-fi(wi-fi quite stable, u can play MSN in starbuck or other wi-fi area).....there are oso ds ipodwhich play songs.-inlove fews more games is harvest moon DS, mario basketball slam, and pokemon diamond/pearl. u can buy DS brower to surf internet through wi-fi. recommend to buy things like R4,cuz u can download many games and aplications!!

What do you mean by a clean mario kart rom?

I got mario kart on my R4 and it's working fine new games aswell.
