http://www.philly.com/philly/news/weird_news/20071004_ap_girlswimsriverwithhandsfeettied.html Thats a bit taking it to the extreme.
I don't believe it that a 10 year old really wants to do this. <_< It's probably the dad keep telling her to achieve her (read: his) dreams by perseverance and if she doesn't she's a loser etc. putting pressure on her.
^ seriously ... I wouldn't want to do this no matter how old I am. must be the father pressuring her ... -unsure
10 years doing something like that is just outrageous.. The girl could have died in the river... Its near impossible to swim with hands and feet tied together... unless you are doing a butterfly style kick... It'd take tons of time to swim across that river.. I reckon that her dad is just over-ambitious and doesn't really know how she feels when she undergoes the activities.
well alot of people get to the olympics train when they are like 10 and even younger so i dont see anything wrong unless hes forcing her and we don't know about it -dead
well she started training at 6 and in her mind if she had started so young she should keep continuing
the training doesn't seem outrageous but the method surely does...with the tied hand and ankles...how in the world is she moving?
what does him being 35 when having his daughter have to do with him treasuring her life? -huh i doubt he loves his daughter so much as to help her achieve her dreams even at the cost of her getting frostbite. (or whatever you call that in really cold conditions)
