The unofficial results are out: Liberal got majority, John Tory lost his own riding, NDP had a great leap forward in terms of number of seats (I think it's up 5% or something)

I just know I won't vote for conservatives, EVER.

I would have thought PC is the leading party in your province/town... I am probably stereotyping (no offense) -sweat

Looking forward to the next federal vote to kick Harper from his cushy chair, he annoys me.

If I could vote, I would've voted for Liberals. I dislike Dalton Mcguinty, but not enough to vote Conservative. Sucks that I can't vote, but at least I'll be able to by the next federal election :)

  6. liberals: i hate mcguinty. liar.
    conservatives; i hate them.
ndp: i hate them too. they can say lots of shit you like, but they cant run a govt for shit. and sorry for ndp peeps but thats how it is.
green: not even gonna say a thing.
family coalition party: FTW LOL jsk

voted for the less crapass party.

funny thing is, at school, some guy was walking around with pamphlets that graded all three parties, and they rated liberals D, tories an F, and ndp an A+ for the fact that hampton wants to reduce tuition lol so biased

but thing is, i cant stand any of the parties.

Same here. My decision relies on who I hate the least, which would be the Liberals. Most of the time at least. But then again I have no decision on who gains power :(

The least of all evils, my friends... I cracked up when the CBC show read a visitor comment from their website which goes something like this:

"Liberal getting a majority doesn't mean that we think Liberal is the best, it means that we think Liberal is not the worst."

    ETA> Found the original comment:

  10. lol you talking federals and my decision changes at the fed level

but ontario provincial level we have some messed up candidates

The PC is fundamentally in conflict with my beliefs and principles... So at any level they still wouldn't get my vote -devil

And OMG, did anyone saw those morons from that whatever Family Coalition thing? I wanted to get off my car and stone them to death with their "Abortion is killing a child" banners. They were congesting the already VERY congested streets.

Lol I have no idea what their platform is. They to the left?, center?, right? I absolutely have no idea. Lol

As for the Federal decision, which will be my first vote. There is a chance that I might be voting Conservative. Defiantly a higher chance than on the provincial level.

meh i dont understand the whole abortion issue thing...

if you put women who abort their children in jail as murderers then what about the women who have miscarriages? should they be jailed for manslaughter?

a foetus isnt a child, no matter how you look at it.

But it is a life. That's their whole argument. Abortion means that you are purposely murdering a life. Instead of treating it as a living thing you treat it as a burden and eliminate it. Just like throwing away a useless object.

Abortion is one of those issues where I'm still on the fence about. Have no real view on it.

I don't know what I will be voting for at a federal level, but sure as hell PC isn't getting my vote. Don't even mention the two-tier system (which was the brainchild of PC), it may as well just close the door to those most in need of medical care.

What I look for in a platform:
Post-secondary school funding (and education system in general)
    Health system
    Tax
    Environment
    Gay marriage/rights

Surprisingly, the Green and NDP failed to impress me with their environmental platform last time... They sounded as if they are playing Sim City with unlimited budget... <_<

Abortion is one issue I have really strict view on, with ZERO leeway, if a party is so-called pro-life and plan to make abortion illegal and equivalent (or punishable) like murder or manslaughter, it's not getting my vote.

^ the presidential election is like November 2008, who knows about the capability of these new candidates though lol

  20. you know... when fed election comes, thats gonna be real hard...

i want to vote liberals, but i think stephane dion has too much of a..... weak image... but i dont doubt his knowledge in a university classroom...

harper on the other hand, altho i hate PC, harper was the first ever PM to hire an image consultant, to fix his image... leaderwise, harper would get my vote between him and dion, but party wise, i want libs...

    DILEMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
