so im thinking of getting a ds but do u think there'll be a new ds coming out soon cause this ds lite has been out since iunno 2005 and i think they might have a new one and im not sure if i should get it now cause it might be to late and if u have any advice plz post PEACE
well there's nothing wrong with getting a ds now. and I haven't heard about a new ds coming out. well you can wait to get the new one if you want to hold out for something that might not exist ..
yea, i havent heard of new ds coming out, when you get a ds, get a r4ds also. get a ds before christmas or all the stores probably wont have it in stock.
Well, you can wait for the new one but it probably will cost you more and if you want till the prices drop a bit they might announce another new DS so you will keep going. (but the DS Lite was only released last year?)
lite looks sexy and the regular looks ugly but cheaper and DON'T get a R4 DS coz they are a waste of money instead get a CycloDS Evoloution (next gen stuff compared with R4)

i don't think nintendo will release another ds as if u look at what has happened before they had the game boy advance and then game boy advance sp, and now as they have the ds lite i don't think another ds will be released. the next thing that they will probably release is just another handheld but i don't think that will be available for quite a while yet, but if u wait the price will gradually drop so it just really depends on ur opinion.
if you already have a psp there is no point in getting the slim unless the current one is broken. theres nothing new to it apart from the size which isn't really worth spending extra for tbh.
cyclo ds evo ftw =)), supports up to 32gb (sdhc) r4ds only supports up to 2gb cyclo ds evo may cost more, but it has more features.
so whats difference between cyclods and r4ds. kinda researched it. but clarify it for me =) 2gb is plenty
r4ds is spring loaded, with a fragile spring. cyclods isnt. cyclods supports sdhc (secure digital high capacity) r4ds doesnt. cyclods has a built in dldi patcher r4ds doesnt. cyclo ds has a auto rom trimmer r4ds doesnt. but can be downloaded cyclo ds has all features the r4 ds has. just for $10 more you can get cyclo ds. they even have a forum, and the admins & mods listen to what you have to say. 'enuff said =))
I prefer PSP over DS. If you are a student, most of the thing u properly wont even have time to play game. So, DS is kind of no use in school. PSP in other hand is a decent purchase. You can go online with it, listen to music, see photos, and video.
you are wrong ds can be used like a organizer and it can do everything a psp can do + other feautures including voice chat. yes it can go online and surf the web also.
I would agree that most of the PSP features can be done on DS reasonably well, EXCEPT going online... The wifi is so slow on DS you can't really surf...
