From Reuter 10/10/07 For me the highlighted paragraph is great, so dont drink vodka for 3 days unless are looking for strong hagover.
lol.. wonder if he thanked them for saving him.. plus the cost of the vodka he have to pay in addition to the hospital fees..
Saw this the other day... The guy tried to suicide... Might have cursed them for saving him lol' If he has health insurance or was at a public hospital, he has no major fees to pay
Totally off-topic (but not really): Can anyone explain to me how alcohol works in detoxing ethylene glycol??? Coz I thought they would have used charcoal... -unsure
^ Its simply fascinating how small molecules could affect one's health. My teacher was saying how two compounds with a different structure could prove fatal and that by knowing the basics, we can save lives. -^_^
SIGH. Toxicology... I already forgot the 2 main pathways to detox more than 80% of known (and detox-ible) toxicants. One of them involves a certain sulphate group... Good that I never dream of holding an occupation which saves lives -tongue2
that is about 90% alcohol?!?!?! that wouldn't be even nice to drink I guess... its only burning then lol and then you die lol
Surprisingly, this actually happened in one of the episode of House. An inmate tried to kill himself with laser printer toner. And the cure was alcohol.
