I had a lot of acne during 10th grade to 12th grade, Im currently freshmen college. I don't get that much acne anymore, maybe one in a while, (ever since I stop using anything like acne cream and cleaner)
and the red marks are fading a bit but it is still there(alot of red marks). I want to ask when are the red marks gone naturally? I'm not loooking for anymore cream or whatever treatment.

I personally wouldn't know but I think it's not somehting you have to worry about as it wil fade eventually? Just keep yourself healthy, get yourself the right amount of vitamins and water. :)

When it will be gone is very hard to say as everyone internal mechanism works different. Best is to have a combination of proper rest period, good hygiene , adequate nutritional intake (remember drinking moderate amount of H20 is important as it flushes out toxins) as well as exercise.

Those red marks or in worst case brown/dark marks will also naturally fade away. But it will take some time before you see some effects. In mean time is recommended to keep youre PH level of youre skin stable by cleaning it regularly with water if you have a sensitive skin.

  5. microdermabrasion works really well with acne scarred skin... but it's not cheap tho... n it will take about 6-8 treatments... depending the skill of the person performing the treatment :p

if it's not too bad just try to exfoliate regularly... get rid of all the pigmented dead skin cells in the surface...

that actually has nothing to do with acne

  8. a healthier diet won't harm... but i don't think it will help much abt the scars...

when acne gets out of control it's not so much to do with oily food... it's more likely related to hormones...

if it's only the scars ur concerned abt microdermabrasion can stimulate the fibrablast cells in ur dermis to produce more collagen so when ur new skin cells moves to the surface they will look healthier...

try ask your doctor? i know you don't want to try any more creams or treatment but i finally got a facial cleanser from my doctor as a last resort and it really worked.

besides that, try facials like what kay_xd said:
mixture of corn flour with egg white applied to the face and left on for half an hour then washed off with warm water
blend cucumber and leave on for half an hour as a mask
ripe tomato pulp applied on acne and left untouched for one hour

Vitamin E protects cell membrane from damage. It helps to maintain healthy skin by eliminating harmful free radicals generated during cellular metabolism, with its antioxidant properties. Studies have shown that vitamin E may help skin recover from acne scarring and reduce the appearance of scars left by acne.

    vitamin E might help =]

key importance is probably exfoilate your skin and to moisturize it with spf.

  13. wot ever u do... DON'T PUT LEMON DIRECTLY ON YOUR SKIN!!!

our skin has a pH of around 5.5... and pH level for lemon is about 3-3.5 which means it's about 100 times more acidic than our skin... putting lemon on ur skin is almost like pouring acid on to it!!

I guess the main question on those red marks would be how you treated the acne back when you were in 10th grade. I had bad acne before but I held off popping them or removing them with force (scrubbing). I used acne treatment (clearasil back then).

You might want to try ProACTIVe. I use it eventhough my Acne is almost gone.

well anything less than pH 7 is acidic =P

but then again, ur soon to be a pro therapist, so i'm sure they'll all listen to u la hehehehe

  19. haha... i know anything less than 7 is accidic... our skin is slightly acidic just to make it harder for bacteria to invade...

n i know each unit on the pH scale is 10 times as the previous one i.e. pH of 6 is 10 times more acidic than pH7 n pH 5 is 100 times more acidic than pH 7
