I really want to lose 20lbs quickly. Since I have been to college each year I gain about 10lbs per year and this is my 2nd year going to my 3rd. I want to lose it all back to the way my weight was before I went to college. With the extra weight it cause my face to look wider. So I was wondering if any one can give me any advice on weight loss. Also methods that are effective. The main things I need to work on is my face and my arms..My legs are long because I am 5'9 so my legs always looks thin.. But its just my face and arms are wider then I want them to be. Thanks Sumi Girl
lol the college weight gain thing, never happened to me lol, but if you want to lose weight i guess don't eat fattening foods, maintain your calories, do cardio workouts daily and probably some mat workouts to shape your body...
yeah and once u stop movin....all the weight will come back... ull end up with stretch marks & fat -huh
cardiovascular exercise + watch what you eat (less junk/fat/sweets). Just going on a special diet doesn't work because once you stop the diet, you start gaining more weight than what you started off with before the diet. not really, if you work out for say a month, your body builds this metabolism which basically burns a certain amount of calories. Once you got that metabolism going you only really have to work out like twice a week to maintain it.
^more like 3 times a week lol, need to include variety in your workout though, cause doing the same thing every time doesn't really help too much imo.
^meh, I think its more the usual things you do in your daily life that have a larger effect on your weight. You can do an hour workout for a couple days a week and sit on the couch the rest of the time and it'd be less effective that a person who just walks to and from school and remains active. Variety workout is mainly for building muscles, least thats what I've been told. One day do many reps with low weights, max weights on the next.
is playing basketball any good if i wanna lose weight? I asked my friends if they wanna play with me...but they wanna play soccer >_< so i wanna join a club or somethin
@ aznxchurro true true lol , i get tired fast everytime i workout cause on the resting days i slack off big time haha, yea to build muscle there needs to be variety but also cardio workouts could get boring quick if you do the same thing everytime, like treadmill, bike and not trying anything else (that's all i do if i do cardio lol, that's why i don't like doing cardio)
Start running or swimming for at least 1 hour on a daily basis. Then you can eat all you want and still lose weight. Face is problematic since you can only hope to thin it when you lose your body fat from the rest of your body... Can't exercise directly -sweat
quickest way would b liposuction is the quickest way to go!!!!! but if u want to keep it off i'm afraid there's no short cuts...
liposuction is nasty.... seeing all those fat sucked up lol.. and it hurts too I think To lose weight just exercise everyday... 30 minutes would be enough...
Liposuction = risk for uneven fat distribution = ugly bumps... It's usually not recommended for arm area since the fat are not thick enough (in most cases).
there's no way to target fat loss... for example, if u want to lose the fat off your thighs and try to target them by doing extensions or biking it won't work because u'll build muscle... of course u'll lose some fat but the new muscle will still make ur thighs look big... don't get me wrong, that's great to have muscle instead of fat, but it kinda detracts from the point of having slim thighs/legs -whistle
The thing is I work 2 jobs and fulltime school. I don't have time to go to the gym even though its free to me..Last year when I had a on campus job it enable me to go the gym everyday and I lost weight really quickly But now I dont have time.. I was 152 and went down to 136 in two months but then it all gained back.. Because I am tall at 136 I looked anorexic..hence the pics <------ But now I have gain it all back since I stopped...Well I still try to go once a week. But i am guessing its not enough is there any alternative?
i would say swimming......... entire body gets a workout and you don't look so bulky compared to other exercises...... makes you look leaner also no soda!!!!! bad bad bad
