yea...if u drink coffee, make sure u brush ur teeth alot... yea...I believe there is a warning from health canada about redbull...dont feel surfing the web now...but am sure that at one point the wanted to call it a drug...but it is being abuse by many athletes...I believe it is the caffine it in that can be lethel if u take too much... just to add to that...if you are dehydrated and exercise...u might get muscle spasm...like muscle starts to shake involuntary ... so drink lots of water..
When athletes need to cut weight and they have a short amount of time sweating it out in a sauna is what they do because it works. Like I said, it's one of the quickest ways to lose weight and I did say I wouldn't recommend it as an everyday routine. I also said that a person wouldn't lose 20 pounds from it. I was just sharing information. And a sauna raises a persons body temperature and in effect slightly raises a persons motabolism and that'll help you lose a small amount of weight, also. And here's a health site that provides a bit more info. (Below) http://www.lifedynamix.com/articles/Weight-Loss/Tips_ Sauna_Lose_Weight.html
dood , thanks...but I would never try that myself just to lose weight... I exercise because I like to, and really bored...hehe...there aint nothing else to do...
actually.. caffeine + workout isn't all bad... for example, people that do cardio in the morning b4 breakfast to burn fat directly sometimes take caffeine in to get them going... so 30mins b4 they start, they take some diet coke and then start their 25mins of cardio... then they cool down/let the body rest and follow up with breakfast...
Everyday is a death-worthy trial for these people... I personally wouldn't take this kind of risk, not in a million years.
lol its not a lot of caffiene they're taking in... they take about 1/2 a can of diet coke 6oz of soda... not 6oz of pure caffiene...
i dont drink coffee and go to the gym intentionally...hehe...but noticed the effects last time... I got a muscle spasm after doing 2 sets of leg press....started to shake .... so the week after, i didnt drink coffee before I go...and i was okay... hiake is right though
Here is what I look like now..with the gained weight.. sad sad Hence the bigger arms..Well this pics was taken over the summer. I have lost 10lbs since the pics was taken... uhmmm here is another one Well I dont know if ya' all know what home depot is but I work there as a cashier and I have to stand all day in one spot.. Here is another pics of me with a little weight loss.. Don't you think I should lose more weight..I am definenately not in shape..
While most people with their intellect intact won't OD on caffeine before exercising, if EVER, someone claims that "caffeinated work out yields a higher fat-burning rate" <- which is true. You can bet the number of death by cardiac arrest will skyrocket as stupid people would take the "method" and run with it and drink 2 Red Bulls before exercising to "optimal efficiency". Can't be too careful with these things, if you ask me.
yea...I know home depot...standing is okay...but take a rest and sit down once in a while to rest the legs... looking at the pic...I see alot of sugar on the table....e.g. coke,..cake...not good for diet...even though it looks like a party...start with the diet .... eat good food...use apples carrots to fill the stomach when u r hungery...they are low calorie food...dont strave yourself though...salads...etc...make sure u have some protein or else u will be hungery all the time... http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/iyh-vsv/prod/energy-energie_e.html#he health canada link about energy drinks...
Lol...it was my boyfriends birthday party....On a regular day I eat about once a day. My main meal is usually round 11am. Then that about it. Usally that consists of a instant noodle. One days that I actually have off I eat two meals once at 11am and once at 10:30pm. Thru out the rest of the day I drink maybe one can of soda and a nutra grain bar. This was my diet since I started school in fall.. I know I am slowly losing weight. But not as much as when I use to smoke.. Is there another option other then smoking to keep the weight off. I haven't smoke in 3 years. I was thinner when I did but I gain a lot of weight after I stopped.
Okay, the worst possible thing you can do for weight loss: eat only one meal a day. In combination with pop/soda during the day? A formula for disaster. If you want to lose weight permanently (and quickly, though not as quick as "drying" yourself aka dehydrate yourself), you should keep REGULAR meals. And that's a multiple. When you eat less meals, your body kind of tells itself that "OMG I am going to starve after this, so I better absorb whatever I can", meaning the body will absorb more than necessary (and turn the excess into fat). Smaller meals throughout the day, however, will sustain your energy level, and your body will absorb less erratically (read: less energy stored as fat). Also, you eat more when you are famished, meaning the body has more excess raw material to turn into fat. Don't even get me started on how bad instant noodle is to health, or weight loss. My suggestion? Eat 3 smaller meals (in instant noodle terms, eat 1/2 an instant noodle, three times a day; but if you can avoid instant noodle, avoid it at all cost) and scatter fruits and vegetables, salad without dressings or whatnot, throughout the day. I personally find oranges, apples and pears work best (since they are easy to consume, not messy and cheap), but it's a matter of personal preference. And eating at 10h30pm? Never a good idea. I cannot stress enough how important it is to keep regular sleeping hours, I know it's quite impossible for a college student, but try. As staying up any time after 1h30am will encourage fat storage. You would rather sleep earlier and get up earlier, then you don't even have to worry about eating at 10h30pm since you will be heading to bed soon!
i totally understand what u guys are saying... but coffee has about 6x the amount of caffeine in diet coke(coca cola) per ounce ... and the point of the caffeine use i described isn't to increase fat burning, but to wake you up, get your energy up so you can get through your workout... its just enuff to get u going till your adrenaline kicks in
if you dont have time to exercise, then diet. but ur already fuckin that up. if you only eat once a day, youre messing up your metabolism because everytime you eat youre gonna store it as fat. if you eat 3 meals a day, it will burn off the energy instead of storing it as fat. and on your second meal, youre eating too late. and forget about losing water weight, that weight will come back in 2-3 days. and you cant lose the fat from just your face, you gottta lose weight from your core body first. and the arms, tone them. since you dont havce time to work out, theres like these 5 pound arm bands. just put them on when you working. and for you other people, water is good for you. especially when you eating. fills you up faster. also, eat slower because it takes awhile for your body to actually realize yyoure full.
Just a side note, it has been shown that eating alone will reduce the amount we eat. Because we innately think we are fighting for food = try to out-pace and out-eat people sharing the meal with us. While eating while drinking is effective in reducing the amount you eat (since it fills you up faster and you have to eat slower), many cultures believes that it will upsets the stomach and cause heartburn. Not sure if THAT is true though.
one meal a day with cup noodles and soda, that's not diet lol, soda doesn't help your diet too. And it's very unhealthy for sure, probably could develop an eating disorder. i'm suprise you don't faint often lol. anyways oh yea nutri grain tastes nasty lol. Probably ok for workout that doesn't increase your heart rate too much especially cardiovascular workouts but it's still not recommended. more sleep and drink water would make your workout healthier, the only thing i lack for working out is getting the right amount of sleep though, cause that helps you lose weight better.

I missed this before my other post lol, all i know is the cake and soda will not be good for you lol, but if you want to lose weight lose it more healthily or don't lose it at all. I think you should definitely have a healthier diet, that's a start (no cup noodles, soda or the one meal a day thing) like adrianc said eat fruits and probably less carbs lol...
