Does anyone have a good eggettes recipe??

    I have tried american waffle recipes and it tasted gross..... maybe i just can't cook .........
    but I was hoping if you guys have a good recipe for eggettes as a waffle substitution

    can say ive heard of eggettes before.....unless ya mean them 'gai daan jai' that you eat in hk and are sooo yummmyyy

    ^ ooo...well i looked around and found this one...
    here mebe give this recipe a try:

    Here's the recipe from the link:

    Hong Kong "Little Eggs"
    6 eggs
    6 oz. sugar
    6 oz water
    6 oz white flour
    1/2 oz corn starch
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder

    Cream eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add water. Sift dry ingredients into
    egg mixture. Grease mold and heat until *very hot* before swiftly pouring
    in batter, filling each depression about 60% full. Close mold tightly and
    immediately invert pan in different directions to ensure even coverage
    of batter on all sides. Then place pan over low heat for about 3 minutes
    on each side.

    Sorry, can't give you a recipe, I improvise when I make pancakes and waffles (check for colour, consistency and taste)

    if the it isn't crisp enough when you cook it
    add more corn startch

    my dad taught me that, and it really works
